Sole:
(Use main colour yarn) Rnd 1: ch10, sc in 2nd ch, 7sc, 4 sc in last ch, work on opposite side, 7 sc, 3 sc in last ch, don't join, work sc in 1st sc Rnd 2: 7sc, 2 sc in each of next 4 sts, 7 sc, 2 sc in each of next 4 sts, don't join Rnd 3: 7sc, (2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc) 4 times, 7 sc, (2 sc in 1 st, 1 sc) 4 times, don't join Rnd 4: 1 sc in each st (38 sc), don't join Rnd 5: 1 sc in each st (38 st), sl st and fasten off.

Gauge: Now work in 6 centremost sts of sole, right side facing you. Row 1: ch1, (work only in back loops) sc in the same st, 2 sc in each of next 5 sts, turn Row 2: ch1, 11 sc (work in both loops) Row 3: ch1, 2 sc in 1 st, 9 sc, 2 sc in last st Row 4: ch1, 2 sc in 1 st, 11sc, 2 sc in last st Rows 5 - 7: ch1, 15sc Row 8: ch1, 2 dbl sts, 7 sc, 2 dbl sts Row 9: ch1, 2 dbl sts, 3 sc, 2 dbl sts Rows 10 - 13: ch1, 7 sc Fasten off.

Stitches used:

Now use contrasting colour yarn and begin from one side: Ch1, work sc evenly till the angle, on the angle work ch8 and join in the same st as last sc, continue to work sc till the next angle and work ch8, join in the same st and work sc till the end of row, fasten off.

Join the toe with the sole from one side working sc in each st (7sc) (work in both loops of sole), then continue to work sc evenly on the front of the toe, and join second side of the toe with the sole working sc in each st (7sc). Fasten off. Turn bootie right side out.

Second bootie make equal.

Daisy
Rnd 1: (Use main colour yarn) ch3, join with sl st in 1st ch Rnd 2: ch1, 9 sc in ch-3 space, join with sl st in 1st sc Rnd 3: cut main colour yarn thread leaving a tail long enough to sew on the daisy, and use contrasting colour yarn, *ch7, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, 4 hdc, join with sl st in next st from ch-7*, repeat from * 8 times more, fasten off.

Sides and heel

Work from one side of the sole and begin with 1st unworked st, Row 1: ch1, (work only in back loops) sc in the same st, sc in each of next 17 sts, turn

Make two flowers and sew them on exactly in the middle of toe. Sew them very well because you will use them as buttons and they should hold well.

Row 2: ch1, (work in both loops), 2sc in 1 st, sc in each of next 16 sts, 2 sc in last st, turn Row 3: ch1, 2 sc in 1 st, sc in each of next 18 sts, 2 sc in last st Row 4: ch1, 8 sc, 1 dbl st, 2 sc, 1 dbl st, 8 sc Rows 5 - 6: ch1, sc in each st (20sc) Fasten off.
