Making a front cross cable over 4 stitches (C4F) This will produce a left twist cable. 1. Working in stocking stitch on a ground of reverse stocking stitch, place the first 2 stitches on a cable needle and leave them at the front of the knitting (Fig.60).

Banned Books, at a library near you!


Haringey Libraries are participating in this national promotion which seeks to raise awareness of issues of censorship and freedom of expression. Librarians have chosen over 100 controversial titles which have been banned or challenged in this country or overseas, historically or currently. Many of the titles are available for loan at Wood Green and Hornsey Libraries and the collection will then tour all the libraries.

Available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry handsets, the app will allow you to search, reserve, borrow and renew items on the move and its all free. You will be able to scan the barcode of a book, CD or DVD when they are shopping and automatically search the catalogue to see if its available free to borrow in their local library.
