Evacuation Plan: EVACUATION In the case of fire, or any other natural disaster the staffs and workers will be evacuated from the building. In the case of fire or earthquake emergency bell will ring Everyone will go out of the building to a safe place The usual stair case will be used for evacuation. Some 13 people from the third floor and 15 people from the second floor will have to use the stair case. People will be allowed back to the building only when it is deemed to be safe, the head master or the supervisor advice the people about this In case of fire, the person nearest to the fire extinguisher will use it to put off the fire. Everyone at the building are trained for the same, particularly though who are close to the facility are trained and will be the first people to use them
FIRE EXTUINGISHER DETAILS: There are 5 fire extinguishers in the facility, one in the top floor, at the masters room, the second one is at . They consist of 5 and 10kg, which is capable enough to put off 30 kg/cm 2 fire The cylinder need to be refilled in every one year, the last refilling was done on 2067-01-13..
Environment: The disposal wastage which comes out from all the production process is regularly taken by the wastage collection department of the municipality. The pieces of clothes and pattern paper is taken by the same department for recycling process..is prepared from that recycled material. Any kinds of chemicals and solvents are not produced from this company. Our company is an eco friendly company, as the machines used by us like 62KVA, DEUATZ, manufactured in the Germany. It is designed to produce minimum noise.. and smoke..it operates on diesel and consume about5 liter oil per hour. The last time the maintenance work carried 2067-01-13. Environment Impact: We have always given top importance to the environmental issues and are working along the line to become environmental friendly. Following points are the guideline to stay green: Have adopted policy of as minimum consumption as possible Reuse
1. Have adopted policy of as minimum consumption as possible: we are careful about the use of water and care to use as little water as possible. When the workers are not in room we have policy to switch the light, if less than 10% are working we do not turn us the generator and encourage the workers to use paddle. We try to adopt this while cutting the fabric as well. For printing we normally use thinner paper and also use the other side of the paper as possible 2. Reuse: The cut piece of fabric is used for binding the roll of fabric, bigger pieces are saved so that they can be used making flaps, pockets for a new order 3. Recycle: we do not have our own recycling plant but the fabric cut piece and paper piece are collected every day, which is collected by a designated persons who reuse them making cotton for mattresses etc, and paper is reused for making paper 4. Proper Disposal: The garbage is stored and taken by the Municipality workers who manage the garbage of the valley. We never burn paper, plastic etc. 5. Less smoke and Noise: We have been careful selecting machines that produce less noise or smoke. We do not mind workers playing musical instrument for their entertainment but do not allow to blast it in full volume which may affect the people in neighborhood Community Benefits: We have always supported the different social organizations, club, and disable centers of our community. We have directly supported HVP regularly.
Socially Responsible: We do not claim to be doing big things but we know that we are trying to be socially responsible and have tried to be part of the community. We are member of local community that look after concern of the locality We have been donating money and giving advices to HVP School. Recently we invested to build their science lab. And we are in process to help them build the playground for small children Nursery to three grade We have also been donating money to local clubs for various purposes
Child Labor: Nepalese labor Act says: No minor in the age group of 14 to 16 shall be employed in any establishment for more than six hours a day. Minors above the age of 16 years may be as workers or employees during hours other than between 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. through mutual agreements between such workers and the M.D.
