PERFORMANCE
Our steel sucker rods are an essential part of the fiberglass sucker rod (FSR) string design, adding weight to allow the FSR to lengthen and stretch for increased production. For high temperature applications, our steel rods offer heavy-duty strength for maximum performance.

Steel Sucker Rod Quench and Temper Process

Our steel sucker rods are heat-treated using the Quench and Temper process, producing a stronger rod that requires less carbon and alloys than those that undergo the Normalize and Temper process. During a Quench and Temper cycle, we take samples during the process of a batch and have the ability to alter the formula to obtain desired results. DESCRIPTION
John Crane Production Solutions offers energy efficient fiberglass sucker rods (FSR) for the most extreme heavy load applications, severe corrosion environments and applications where more production is desired without having to upgrade current surface equipment.

FSR Fiberglass Sucker Rods

PERFORMANCE
Our FSRs are lighter and stronger than steel, allowing for reduced failures and workover costs due to less stress on your equipment, lowering overall operating costs.

FSR Testing
Cyclic stress testing is utilized for our FSRs and is accomplished by randomly selecting completed FSR in a continuous and rapid cycle tester. Our FSRs are subjected to extreme stress ranges from 0 to 40,800 lbs of force for millions of cycles at a speed of 30 cycles per minute to ensure our product is second to none.
