BACKGROUND

Sri Mulyani Indrawati, as known as Mbak Ani, is the economist that beautiful, graceful, intelligent and popular. Since the second decade of the 1990s, her name can be equated with the celebrity in entertainment world, due mostly to the seminar stages or quoted in various media. Comments, critical analysis, straightforward, clear and popular. She is the star of seminars and talk shows on television at the time. She became the first woman from Indonesia occupy that position. The President also appointed as the executor of the task of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, replace Boediono who was elected as Governor of Bank Indonesia. A year after becoming the Minister of State VAT / Head of United Indonesia Cabinet, former Executive Director of the IMF serves to replace Finance Minister Jusuf Anwar in KiB reshuffle announced by December 5 and was inaugurated December 7, 2005. Sri Mulyani was chosen to be one of important person in the World Bank by World Bank President, Robert B. Zoellick. In an official statement published by the World Bank, Zoellick stressed that the Sri Mulyani has guided economic policy making Indonesia one of the largest country in Southeast Asia, even one of the largest countries in the world. According to Zoellick, the policy guidance that has been made by Sri Mulyani successfully carry out the Indonesian from crisis. Sri Mulyani also considered to successfully implement key reforms and gets respect from his friends around the world.
