(Operating System installation Completed.)
1. Clean Install Windows Server 2003 R2 64-Bit Operating System a. Make two(2) partitions (1st for system drive and 2nd for installation media) b. For my case, I have 300 GB. 200 GB for system and 100 for SAP Installation Media c. Format with NTFS File System 2. Copy all required installation disk/downloaded files to the 2nd drive (Installation Media) 3. Install network driver and configure permanent/required IP address.

4. Configure Local Host for FQDN (To be used during SAP Installation) a. Go to System Properties->Computer Name->Change->More and fill Primary DNS Suffix of this computer. You can put any DNS, in my case I use computername.net so my computer full name will be computername.computername.net

5. Set OS with 21GB to 25GB swap/page file, Adjust Visual Effects to best performance, and memory usage for best performance on programs

6. Install Java (j2sdkfb-1_4_2_35-windows-amd64.exe) a. 1st execution of file will give an error, but run it again to continue the installation.
Setup will be completed by accepting all parameters provided. b. Set JAVA Environment Variables. System Properties->Advance->Environment Variables User variables for Administrator->Click New->Add Variable Name:JAVA_HOME, Variable Value: <Java Path> System Variables->Select Path->Click Edit->Add to Variable Value: <Java Path> + \bin

9. Perform NT Patch Execute vcredist_x64.msi from the Installation Master Media

10. Restart the Computer to apply the necessary settings. 11. After Restart, Login as Administrator 12. Perform Prerequisites check Execute sapinst.exe from Installation Master and Double click on Prerequisites Check

Check all required services
Browse the location of the installed JAVA environment

Review all defined parameters and click Next.
I already know that my RAM is not enough For the minimum requirements, so I continue by pressing Cancel Button.

Solution Manager Installation 13. Install Solution Manager Execute sapinst.exe from Installation Master and Double click on Central System
System will ask to log-off , so click OK and Login as Administrator. SAPInst.exe will continue the installation.
Browse for the JAVA Export Media

Define SID and Install Drive
Master Password will be used on DDIC and SAP* logins after in the installation.

Browse for the Installation Export Media Disc 1
Browse for the Installation Export Media Disc 2
Browse for the MAXDB Media for x86_64

Browse for the Kernel Media for U_Windows_x86_64
Click on Install The SAP Cryptographic Library Browse for the file 90000101.SAR
Select Configure a local SLD
On Object Server Name, use your computer name Change all passwords

Review all parameters and click Next Button to start the installation.
Up to Import ABAP, approx. it will be completed around 5 hours.

Total installation will be completed approximately around 7 hrs.
14. At this point, Solution manager is running but you need to restart the full system to make sure that all changes in the OS will be applied. 15. When restarting the OS, follow the procedure on how to Start/Stop the SAP Solution Manager Application Server.
