Samhita is a social enterprise that makes giving cool, easy and effective by: Enabling Indian NGOs to raise funds for free using the Samhita.org portal Helping companies implement effective corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies that engage employees, customers and the larger community to create large scale social impact Facilitating effective awards and grants campaigns for donors that want to reach out to thousands of NGOs. We ensure that NGOs can apply for these grants within hours not weeks Enabling companies, researchers and service providers to reach out to more than 38,000 NGOs We are supported by N.S. Raghavan, the co-founder of Infosys Technologies. The opportunity 1800+ NGOs are registered with Samhita and we currently service some of the largest companies as well as the fastest growing start-ups that want to implement innovative, impactful corporate social initiatives. You will be responsible for building and expanding Samhitas corporate social responsibility practice. This includes working with a wide variety of companies that want to support social initiatives that benefit their employees, customers, suppliers or the broader community. You will also be responsible for building other strategic alliances with foundations, international agencies as well as donors who are keen to contribute resources (financial, material, otherwise) to support NGOs/ social projects. In doing so, you will experience the thrill of engaging new clients and servicing existing clients by conceptualizing and implementing innovative strategies to raise funds, chart paths for social enterprise development, and create campaigns to engage corporate employees, customers and other key stakeholders. Key responsibilities Create and implement a scalable, profitable corporate partnership strategy Lead the successful delivery and growth of our CSR services Build high-value partnerships for all of Samhitas service offerings Prepare professional presentations and collateral necessary for approaching prospective clients Evaluate progress to goals and impact of partnerships Assess progress toward quarterly and annual goals not only in terms of rupees raised, but also in terms of total number of new leads generated and total number of conversions Qualification and experience Post-graduate with 3-5 years of experience in consulting / marketing/ financial services / business development Strong knowledge of mass communications, brand building and marketing Donor and/or Client Relationship Management (CRM) experience with companies and people of influence and affluence

Outstanding oral and written communications skills Desired competencies Demonstrated success and knowledge of fundraising or business / partnership development Highly effective interpersonal skills: warmth, tact, diplomacy and creativity Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, start-up environment as part of a closely-knit team (demonstrating patience, tenacity and grace under pressure) A highly organized self-starter; independent and self-directed Detail oriented, with strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills Strong computer-related ability, particularly with respect to client management databases, Salesforce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and social media Why should you join us?
