KEY ASSIGNMENTS : Purchase o Planning or Strategic sourcing of Imported / Domestic materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost savings and meeting anticipatory orders. Negotiations to meet agreed cost / price / savings targets. o Developing potential vendors/suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases of material, reduction in prices or rate negotiation, timely delivery and modification in agreements. Export / Import Operations / Supply Chain Management ( 3 PL Logistics) o Managing the import and export operations, warehouse management, keeping compliance with custom laws, notifications, tariffs, EXIM policy and procedures. o Liaisioning with custom authorities for clearance of consignments and ensuring statutory compliances. o Negotiation of better Ocean / Air freights to reduce logistics cost. o Monitoring proper storage of incoming material; managed goods movements, setting up system & process for stores of large scale Greenfield Manufacturing Unit.
