MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: This contract executed and entered into by and between: SCHOOL OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION, a private nonsectarian educational institution duly, organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Philippines, with principal office at Baliuag University, Baliwag, Bulacan, Philippines, represented in this act by Chairman, MRS. CLARISSA VICENTE, referred to as FIRST PARTY. -andBALIUAG UNIVERSITY, a private non-sectarian educational institution duly address, organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Philippines, with principal office at Gil Carlos St., Baliwag, Bulacan, represented in this act by MR. BERNANDINO P. MALANG, Director of the School of Information Technology Education, herein after referred to as SECOND PARTY. WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS it is mutually agreed that the SECOND PARTY will conduct a project study concerning the thesis entitled A Dynamic Website for Baliuag University School of Information Technology Education, as partial requirement of the course Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. WHEREAS the SECOND PARTY will present the project proposal to the first party for approval. WHEREAS the duties and responsibilities of the SECOND PARTY are set forth to wit: NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the parties hereby mutually agree to the following: Duties and Responsibilities of the SECOND PARTY The SECOND PARTY has the following duties and responsibilities: a. Obey all the existing rules and regulations promulgated and enforced, its officials and other duly constituted authorities. b. Hold all confidential and proprietary information in trust and confidence and not disclose it to any third person except to authorize school personnel who require a written report related to Capstone Project. c. Take responsibility to all the records/documents entrusted to the group and see to it that such records are properly returned to the proper authority and/or safely kept at the end of each working day or visitation day. d. The group is not entitled to any monetary remuneration in connection with the services or systems development under the Project Study. e. Report to the proper authority regularly and submit accomplishment report (at least twice a month). f. Submit a proposed plan for the proper evaluation and implementation of the project. g. Submit a proposed plan for the proper evaluation and implementation of the project. h. Ensure that the project will finish based on the set date of implementation.

WHEREAS, the duties and responsibilities of the first party are hereby presented to wit: Duties and Responsibilities of the FIRST PARTY The FIRST PARTY has the following duties and responsibilities: i. Designate a person in-charge or assign personnel who will ensure that the SECOND PARTY are properly assisted. j. Rate / Evaluate the proposed project based on the evaluation/ requirement given by the Project Team. k. Issue a Certificate of Completion and Acceptance after the project has been completed, l. Allow the team to implement the system in a maximum of two weeks for proper evaluation of the project. m. The FIRST PARTY shall have no obligations whatsoever to take any of the members of the project at the end of the project. However, it may in the exercise of its own and sole discretion absorb any students as its employee. n. The FIRST PARTY shall have no obligation to give monetary amount as payment to the SECOND PARTY for the development of the project. However, it should be encouraged to give a minimal amount to compensation some of the expenses of the project team. This Memorandum of Understanding will take effect immediately and for a period of four (4) months from the signing of the document.
