Windmill application Phase1 - Use of CANopen DIV and PSC2 digital Controller Phase2 - Use of Profibus Motion Control Valve (MCV) with local CANopen loop closure Moog DIV Application: Analog wiring into rotating equipment is very difficult Lower system cost with higher reliability using fieldbus technology the new concept requires three individual axis instead of one with mechanical coupling ( need for local intelligence, synchronized axis )
