Community Areas

Each community has its own set of policies, as to the abilities of members, process of decision making, work and building standards. It is recommended to keep them in the community library.

Short title

Include the library or planing center, the workshop or creative center, the stage or recreation center, logistics or the postal center, kitchens or snack-booths, farm or energy-production areas, warehouses or storage-areas. Note these could be as simple as boxes, shelves or closets for indoor conditions. It is suggested they grow organically, starting with cheap and simple areas, that with increasing use can be upgraded.

Process
Joining

For occupiers to be able to get homes, farms, or other property, in an aordable manner, with an intentional-community component. Also so that it could be paid o in a reasonable amount of time.

If someone wishes to leave the co-operative organization, they have to sell their shares, either to an existing member, or to a new member. Note that a new member would have to go through the joining process.

Principle

Aordable housing or land with an intentional co-operative community. The basic notion is the land is bought in bulk, and members have a share of it.

To join a Landshare Co-op have nd one, and rent or purchase a share of land. New members should be in alignment with community policy. There may be a resume and interview process depending on site. If you purchase or mortgage shares, can select which areas youd like to call your own from whats available on the community map.

Reproducing

If there is a major split in the group, it may be time to reproduce the community, that is to make a new additional community, so both sides of the split can continue. Recomendation is for larger group to stay on site while helping the new group form for succesful community reproduction.

Festivals

To create a landshare, have to get together enough money for a downpayment, and any ongoing fees, this may require several initial investors. You may choose to le articles of incorporation or notice of peoples, for the creation of a cooperative, requiring at least 3 initial members.

Each co-operative can have its own general assembly, at any appointed day or time on site, or at a dierent location if members agree. These are where decisions and policies are made. Its recommended to make the meeting available to remote members also. 1

It is recommended to have regular festive gettogethers, at a minimum of 4 a year, Traditional times of astronomic regularity are immedietly preceding celestial events such as solstice and

equinoxes. For highest energy during the festival it is suggested to have it near the full moon. Festivals mark the end of a season, though are also preparation for the next, since within a few weeks afterwards there are meetings, it is recomended to hold them in spirit of a potlatch, where especially those people which would like their proposal elected or rank raised, would be motivated to be generous with gift-giving.

Rural locations are far but have appeal, as they have more freedom to form model communities of how we wish to live in future. They are also more sustainable in terms of being able to gather resources, grow food, and make products on site.
