B.Tech Aerospace Engineering
The Graduate programs offered by UPES are customized to the requirements of the Oil & Gas industry. A balanced approach has been followed while designing these programs, so that the students can develop both academic and application strengths in their chosen domains. UPES encourages and initiates continuous feedback from the industry experts and practicing Oil & Gas professionals in making its programs globally competitive. A 4 years degree program, B.Tech Aerospace Engineering prepares students on a wide variety technical issues including Aerodynamics, Flight mechanics, Structures, Propulsion systems, Aircraft Systems and Maintenance. The program is ably supported by some excellent world-class laboratories including Turbo Jet Engine (R-29) of MIG-23 Aircraft, a MiG-23 Airframe, a sub sonic wind tunnel, Aircraft modeling lab etc. The minor and major projects enhance the creative and design/ optimization skills of the students. The delivery methodology comprises a rich mix of case studies, lectures, guest lectures, interactive group work, presentations, discussions, tutorials, live projects, summer internships and directed self study. Students knowledge of the theory, practice and execution of business decisions is further supplemented with frequent interactions with Industry leaders as well as policy framers in the form of guest lectures.

The Aerospace Engineering department at UPES is equipped with five ultra modern laboratories apart from having prized possessions of a MIG-23 Aircraft Airframe and a R-29 Jet Engine.
