Where Do Tattoo Designs Originate;

A tattoo is an artwork or design that is embedded into the skin using a single needle or a group of needles using various types of ink. The word tattoo originates from Tahiti, which is actually, "tatua", meaning "to mark". Every culture has used tattoos from the Ice Age to modern man. Only until recently has the mainstream accepted tattoos in the United States. The ancient Egyptians (4000 B.C) practiced tattooing, as evidence can been seen in their mummies. His first customers were soldiers from both sides of the Civil War.
