Last month we told you that Kristen Muir would be joining our team! Her classes start this month so please to stop by! She has a great workout planned out.
Some media sources say that the average person gains seven lbs during the holiday season (roughly between Thanksgiving and New Years). However, in truth most studies suggest that people on average gain one to two lbs during that time. Good news right? Yes and no. Studies also suggest that most people never loose those h oliday pounds . Meaning, its possible to gain up to 10 lbs in half a decade, and never lose any of it!! So how do you keep the weight from accumulating? Basically keep up all the hard work youve maintained during the rest of the year, with some added strategies. 1. Set manageable goals dont set yourself up for failure! 2. Be consistent With your workout and your eating habits. 3. Prioritize Its the holidays, so youre going to splurge a little. Just choose between dinner bread and pie.

We want our members to lead positive and healthy lives. Whether your goal is to tone, loose body fat, body build or strengthen, we desire to encourage you in achieving your goals! What better way to encourage yourself and others, than to share your progress? In our Newsletter we are creating a space just for you to announce that you have hit a target, or to thank our amazing staff for helping you reach your target! Did MaryEllens yoga class help you strengthen your core? Did Nick or Barbara help you fit into a smaller pair of pants? Or are you so buff that you need a larger size shirt? Whatever positive comments you have about what you are doing in your workout, we want to know!
Hello! My name is Brittany. DSF was my gym long before I started my employment here, and I love it! The atmosphere is wonderful! Now I help out in Child Care, and I collaborate with Tammy for our monthly newsletter! I just graduated from UCD, with my B.A. in English. I am very excited to be working with Tammy and everyone at DSF.

Ages: 6 and up The class will focus on some yoga postures such as: standing pose, underdog pose, cat pose, tree pose, child pose, butterfly pose, and more. The class will end with a guided mediation that will energize and revitalize your child while reducing everyday stress.
