GRAPHIC TABLET - A graphics tablet is a computer input device that enables a user to hand-draw images and graphics, similar to the way a person draws images with a pencil and paper. These tablets may also be used to capture data or handwritten signatures. It can also be used to trace an image from a piece of paper which is taped or otherwise secured to the surface. Capturing data in this way, either by tracing or entering the corners of linear poly-lines or shapes is called digitizing.

7. JOYSTICK - A joystick is an input device consisting of a stick that pivots on a base and reports its angle or direction to the device it is controlling. Joysticks, also known as 'control columns', are the principal control in the cockpit of many civilian and military aircraft, either as a center stick or side-stick. They often have supplementary switches on them to control other aspects of the aircraft's flight.

8. BARCODE SCANNER - A barcode scanner is an electronic device for reading printed barcodes. Like a flatbed scanner, it consists of a light source, a lens and a light sensor translating optical impulses into electrical ones. Additionally, nearly all barcode readers contain decoder circuitry analyzing the barcode's image data provided by the sensor and sending the barcode's content to the scanner's output port.

9. TOUCH SCREEN - A touch screen is a computer screen or other screen that you can touch with your finger to enter information. Examples of touch screens include a smart board, a microwave, a dishwasher, or an ATM at a bank.

10. DISK DRIVE - A hard disk drive is a non-volatile, random access digital magnetic data storage device. It features rotating rigid platters on a motor-driven spindle within a protective enclosure. Data is magnetically read from and written to the platter by read/write heads that float on a film of air above the platters. A disk drive can hold a CD or a floppy disk. It reads the information on the disk so that the computer can use it.

INPUT DEVICES
1. MOUSE - Another common input device that is used with a computer is a mouse or pointing device. A mouse displays a cursor on the screen that is used to make selections and navigate the operating system. All modern operating systems use a graphical interface which requires a mouse to open files, folders and to make selections. A mouse also connects using a cord or a wireless connection. 2. KEY BOARD - The keyboard is one of the most common types of input devices that is used with a computer. A keyboard consists of letters, numbers and other types of keys that perform different types of functions when used with a computer system. A keyboard can connect to the computer through a cord as well through a wireless connection. 3. SCANNER - A scanner is a device that is used to copy an image or document and convert it into a digital file that is used with a computer system. Scanners can be used to create digital images of family photos as well as create digital images of important documents. A scanner is available as a flatbed device or a sheet fed device that can come bundled with many printers and fax machines. 4. MICROPHONE - A microphone is an input device that can be used in a computer for many different applications. One way to use a microphone is to record audio or video tutorials. Another use for a microphone is for performances such as karaoke or professional audio recording. A microphone is available as a hand-held model as well as a headset.

5. WEBCAM - A webcam is a video camera that feeds its images in real time to a computer or computer network, often via USB, Ethernet, or WiFi. The use of it is the establishment of video links, permitting computers to act as videophones or videoconference stations. This common use as a video camera for the World Wide Web gave the webcam its name. Other popular uses include security surveillance and computer vision and there are also uses on sites like video broadcasting services and for recording social videos.

OUTPUT DEVICES
1. MONITOR- A monitor or display also called screen or visual display unit is an electronic visual display for computers. The monitor comprises the display device, circuitry, and an enclosure. A monitor is the screen on which words, numbers, and graphics can be seen. The monitor is the most common output device.

2. PRINTER - A printer is a peripheral which produces a text or graphics of documents stored in electronic form, usually on physical print media such as paper or transparencies. Many printers are primarily used as local peripherals, and are attached by a printer cable or, in most new printers, a USB cable to a computer which serves as a document source. A printer prints whatever is on the monitor onto paper. Printers can print words, numbers, or pictures.

3. SPEAKER - Computer speakers, or multimedia speakers, are speakers external to a computer that disable the lower fidelity built-in speaker. They often have a low-power internal amplifier. A speaker gives you sound output from your computer. Some speakers are built into the computer and some are separate.

4. FACSIMILE - A facsimile is a copy or reproduction of an old book, manuscript, map, art print, or other item of historical value that is as true to the original source as possible. It differs from other forms of reproduction by attempting to replicate the source as accurately as possible in terms of scale, color, condition, and other material qualities

5. PLOTTER -. A plotter is a computer printing device for printing vector graphics. In the past, plotters were widely used in applications such as computer-aided design, though they have generally been replaced with wide-format conventional printers. It is now commonplace to refer to such wide-format printers as "plotters," even though they technically aren't.

6. LCD PROJECTION PANEL - A Projection panel is a device that, although no longer in production, was used as a data projector is today. It works with an overhead projector (OHP). The panel consists of a translucent LCD, and a fan to keep it cool. The projection panel sits on the bed of the OHP, and acts like a piece of OHT transparency. The panels have a VGA input, and sometimes Composite (RCA) and S-Video. Later models have remotes, with functions such as 'Freeze' which lets you freeze the image, useful for when you want to leave something on the screen whilst you do other things. 7. COMPACT DISK - The Compact Disc (also known as a CD) is an optical disc used to store digital data. It was originally developed to store and playback sound recordings exclusively, but later expanded to encompass data storage (CD-ROM), write-once audio and data storage (CD-R), rewritable media (CD-RW), Video Compact Discs (VCD), Super Video Compact Discs (SVCD), PhotoCD, PictureCD, CD-i, and Enhanced CD. Some compact disks can be used to put information on. This is called burning information to a CD. 8. AUDIO CARD - A audio card (also known as an sound card) is an internal computer expansion card that facilitates the input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of computer programs. The term sound card is also applied to external audio interfaces that use software to generate sound, as opposed to using hardware inside the PC. Typical uses of sound cards include providing the audio component for multimedia applications such as music composition, editing video or audio, presentation, education and entertainment (games) and video projection. 9. HEADPHONES - Headphones are a pair of small loudspeakers, or less commonly a single speaker, held close to a user's ears and connected to a signal source such as an audio amplifier, radio, CD player or portable Media Player. They are also known as stereo phones, headsets or, colloquially, cans. The in-ear versions are known as earphones or ear buds. 10. FLOPPY DISK - Floppy disc is a magnetic storage device. A layer of magnetized material is placed within a proactive plastic casing. The computer embeds the data into the magnetized material, using a writing head.
