THE COMPANY

Aeropac S.A. started its aerospace activities in 1986 with a missile program. This committed Aeropac to apply the strict regulations that this type of activities demand.

For a period of time the company concentrated on design and construction of components for missile structures, entire stages, research mock-ups, transport dollies, hoisting devices and transport containers for the aforementioned components Aeropac manufactured major jigs to assemble the CBA-123's Embraer/Fama commuter aircraft), fuselage subassemblies as well as many other jigs and fixtures.

Another type of activity is the milling of aerospace parts, this also derived from the missile program for which Aeropac was one of the main suppliers of structural components. After the completion of the missile program, the company has been supplying aircraft parts for the jet trainer IA-63 and the commuter aircraft CBA-123.

In order to keep pace with today's aircraft manufacturing industry, Aeropac is aiming to enter into the field of composite material parts, for that purpose is planning to build a new plant to meet the challenge this new activity demands. Present Aeropac's facilities have been inspected and approved by the following customers; Embraer, FAMA, LTV, Ayres Corp, etc. Aeropac's new facilities will be 44,500 sq. ft., with further expansion to a total of approximately 250,000 sq. ft. Expansion to be made as required.

It is important to point out that a bilateral agreement was signed in 1989 between the US Federal Aviation Administration and the Argentine Direccin Nacional de Aeronavegabilidad. Under this agreement the D.N.A. certifies aircraft components manufactured in Argentina to be used in US aircraft. Fama also certifies aircraft parts made by Argentine vendors for Embraer, Brazil. As such, FAMA representing D.N.A., certifies Aeropac as supplier of parts and tooling for Embraer, The Quality Assurance Department also keeps an up-dated file of specifications and standards issued. In addition to the Mil-Spec and other standards, the Quality Assurance Department issued and Internal Quality Control Procedures Manual.

These Fuel Valve are accurate reproductions of Boeing Stearman Fuel Valve, changing the cork for Teflon plastic seal.

Mounting dimensions identical to PT-17 airplane type.

Aeropac supply quality aircraft components for the homebuilt and vintage aircraft market. Our products are reproductions of the World War II era fuel valve as used on famous aircraft like the Boeing Stearman and other military trainers and fighters. Our version of this fuel valve is bolt-hole compatible and, for the most part, parts compatible with the original 1930s design, however the engineering tolerences and quality of workmanship on our new product far exceeds that of the originals. Where minor differences occur they have been implemented to improve the safety and durability of the product.

These Spherical Fuel Valve are try to solve the historical problems of the Boeing Stearman Airplane allowing perfect fuel seal. Internal body is in Stainless Steel and external in Alluminium, mounting dimensions identical to PT-17 airplane type.

We recommend this valve over the original design because it is new and more confiability design.

These throttle quadrants are accurate reproductions of WWII quadrants. Available in one, two and three lever versions. Mounting dimensions identical to military types.
