INTRODUCTION ACTTs PROFESSIONAL ACTOR PROGRAM is a unique three year vocational Advanced Diploma course, incorporating Australias most advanced studiobased Acting Training System designed to hone the skills of talented students who wish to pursue a career as professional actors in film, television and theatre. The ACTT approach to actor training is uniquely adaptable to the individual actors needs and performance circumstances. YEAR 3: Professional Practice: Professionalism. In the third and final year at ACTT students expand and fine tune their acting range and technique in five major performances. Through a rigorous program of rehearsal and performance, students develop the skills and techniques they need to lay the ground work for a sustainable performance practice projects in readiness to enter the industry. As well as the major performances, students create a showreel and participate in a range of master classes taught by some of the industrys finest guest directors, actors, casting agents and coaches Performance Projects: There are two major stage productions and two screen projects during this year. Stage: Two stage productions for the general public and industry are mounted in a Sydney theatre as well as a Showcase for the Industry. All full time courses are listed on CRICOS also making them available to overseas students. The courses are accredited by ASQA, and the technical qualifications are drawn from the National Entertainment Training Package. ACTT is a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET), the peak industry association for independent providers of education and training for Australian and International students.
