INTRODUCTION ACTTs PROFESSIONAL ACTOR PROGRAM is a unique three year vocational Advanced Diploma course, incorporating Australias most advanced studiobased Acting Training System designed to hone the skills of talented students who wish to pursue a career as professional actors in film, television and theatre. YEAR 3: Professional Practice: Professionalism. In the third and final year at ACTT students expand and fine tune their acting range and technique in five major performances. Through a rigorous program of rehearsal and performance, students develop the skills and techniques they need to lay the ground work for a sustainable performance practice projects in readiness to enter the industry. As well as the major performances, students create a showreel and participate in a range of master classes taught by some of the industrys finest guest directors, actors, casting agents and coaches Performance Projects: There are two major stage productions and two screen projects during this year. Stage: Two stage productions for the general public and industry are mounted in a Sydney theatre as well as a Showcase for the Industry.
