7. Test the A circuit. Check with the multimeter the presence of -48V and the polarity between BATA and BATR. 8. On the site power panel, disconnect the power supply line, using fuse holder A. 9. Repeat the previous operations for circuit B. Check the presence of -48V and the polarity between BATA/B and BATR on each circuit, then leave the circuits disconnected. 10. Replace the PDU cover plate.
4. Switch ON (engage) the switches A4 and B4. Power LED on JBXPEMs in JSXLIU shelf switches ON. 5. Switch ON (engage) the breakers A3 and B3. 6. Check on each JBXPS front panel that Rev. Power LED is OFF. If Rev. Power LED is ON switch OFF the breakers A3 and B3 and check power polarity on JBXPS terminals. 7. Switch ON the breaker on all JBXPS modules. The OK green LED on each JBXPS switches ON.
8. If JSXLIU2 shelf is used, switch ON (engage) the switches A2 and B2. Power LED on JBXPEMs in JSXLIU shelf switches ON. 9. If ATCA4 shelf is used, switch ON (engage) the switches A1 and B1. 10. Check on each JBXPS front panel that Rev. Power LED is OFF. If Rev. Power LED is ON switch OFF the breakers A1 and B1 and check power polarity on JBXPS terminals. 11. Switch ON the breaker on all JBXPS modules. The OK green LED on each JBXPS switches ON.

On the power distribution unit (JSXPDU), switch OFF the -48 V DC power supply lines A3 (if ATCA shelf 3 is used) or A1 (if ATCA shelf 4 is used) using the corresponding fuse holders. 7. Check that the ATCA shelves remain powered up and the boards are not affected. For all boards check the LEDs status. 8. For the fan trays repeat steps 4 and 5, then check that: The four fan trays are still detected RPM must be different from zero. 9. Switch ON the -48 V DC power supply lines A3 (if ATCA shelf 3 is used) or A1 (if ATCA shelf 4 is used). No boards are affected and lines A3 and A1 are connected. 10. Note:
For hardware reset of board variants before 3BK 27236 AACA use the reset button from JBXOMCP board. For board variants from 3BK 27236 AACA on, the reset button is no more available. 6. With the OMCP terminal window connection through SHMC selected, press [ ESC ] + [ 2 ] or press [ F2 ] several times from the installation PC keyboard during the OMCP booting sequence. 7. Check System Time and System Date from Main menu are the current ones, otherwise you must correct it. 8. Check boot sequence from Boot menu are the correct ones, otherwise you must modify it. The correct order must be Hard Drive -> ETH1 -> ETH2 -> CD-ROM Drive -> Removable Devices. 9. Press [ F10 ] and then press [ Enter ] to save the changes you made and exit the BIOS.
