Product Overview: High Performance Featuring the power of dual Intel XeonTM 5300/5100-series dual-core or quad-core processors up to 3.0 GHz with 1333 MHz Front Side Bus, the I-4000x R3 is a top-of-the-line server that delivers high performance, system reliability, and configuration flexibility in an open-standards 4U based platform. Extended 64-bit Memory Technology (EM64T) and Virtualization Technology are supported in processor, memory, and chipset for maximum performance throughout the system. Telephony Support Alliance I-4000x R3 delivers telephony specific features and validation testing that enables rapid time to market for communications applications. With six PCI-X slots, the I-4000x R3 supports five full-length, full-height telephony cards providing up to 20 T1/E1 spans, or supporting up to 10 T1 trunk taps or 120 station-tapped lines. Since telephony cards require more processing, power, and cooling, you can be assured that the I-4000x R3 will hold up to demanding requirements.
