Attendance will be checked every meeting. A student incurring more than 6 absences should drop the course (before the last day of dropping) or will be given a grade of 5.0. 3. The following grading scale will be applied: 92 100 1.0 88 91+ 1.25 84 87+ 1.5 80 83+ 1.75 76 79+ 2.0

72 75+ 2.25 68 71+ 2.5 64 67+ 2.75 60 63+ 3.0 55 59+ (4.0; take removal exam) below 55 5.0 4. If a student misses a long exam, he is required to submit an excuse slip issued by the College on the earliest class he can attend. He is required to take the removal exam and this exam will replace the missed exam. The removal exam can replace only one missed exam. If the average of the 3 exams and the removal exam is less than 60, the student will get a final grade of 5.0. 5. A student who misses two or more exams will be advised to drop or will be given a grade of 5.0. 6. Those who will obtain a grade of 4.0 should take the removal exam that will be given during the finals week. 7. Appeals for re-checking of exam will be entertained only up to one week after the exam papers are returned, or before the deadline of submission of grades (for the removal exam). 8. Anyone suspected of or caught cheating will be reported to the SDT. 9. The lecture slides are available for downloading at UVLE. Enrolment key: eee3>walk<ride
