See SAP note 16083 regarding job SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS. This job should not be run in background mode anymore. Just delete the job. "***** Caution: The standard job SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS that was contained in s ome delivered versions must no longer be executed (see Note 67014). In its new v ersion, the underlying ABAP Program RSM13002 is programmed so that it terminates when running in a job (that is, in the background). Therefore, the job SAP_REOR G_UPDATERECORDS always terminates in this case. In any case, the job SAP_REORG_U PDATERECORDS should be deleted from the pool of standard jobs, if it is still th ere: sm36 -> 'Standard jobs' -> 'Delete standard jobs'. In addition, released jo bs that may exist and contain report RSM13002 should be deleted. You can find an d delete these jobs using sm37." 2)While running SAP_REORG_JOBS to remove old jobs from your system, try to use t he program RSBTCDEL2, which is the new version of RSBTCDEL and then in your opti on use the force mode. This should clear of your old job logs. Your system could be a SAP Basis 700 system so you may not find the Force mode, in that case just make sure you are not running in Test mode and Jobname and Use rname are having * to take care of all the jobs for that period you want. 3)check the user which owns the step in your job, there might be missing authori zations. try to run this job in foreground, you should get more information. then, run tc ode SU53 to see what missing authorizations. Two cases have to be distinguished here: If the user has authorization S_BTCH_JOB with JOBGROUP = * and JOBACTION = DELE, all jobs that meet the selection criteria are deleted in the current client.
