PROJECTS

Students created Show Me Biology presentations. Flip video cameras to record the results of the Is Yeast Alive laboratory and to record Genetics Explained videos. Comic Life and Microsoft Publisher to create Organism Newspapers from the perspectives of eight different organisms. Researched, produced and published on YouTube science videos including the student-created The Discovery of Cells with more than 2,500 views Used iMovie to produce and publish movies to augment in-class instruction including The Levels of Biology on YouTube.Created Google Docs Forms for assessment, checkins, and data collection. Started a class wiki for students to share genetics research projects through Wikispaces. Wrote the document How to Use Google Docs Forms for Shelby High School Professional Learning Communities. Experienced in setting up and maintaining a domain and server, and using HTML, CSS through Dreamweaver to create websites and edit Wordpress themes.
