There has been strong support for this model and it is apparent, the association between

Puerto Ricans tend to decline with generation with relation to crowding, unlike whites and

steps of the research project. The method used probably could have been
different just for the simple fact that there was no comparison with other
areas surrounding the projects topic area of New York City. It would have
been interesting to see how it compares to other areas whether urban or
suburban.
4.What research method(s) was employed by the researchers? Was this appropriate for the
population and the research question? Were there limitations to this method?
This is a case study research project. It is also an explanatory research project. The article uses
survey data and also uses multivariate models. I believe this method or purpose is sufficient for the
population studied in the research project. The major limitation in this research project was that
there was only one city being analyzed. Since the researchers used a cast study approach they were
unable to analyze other surrounding cities, which was another problem. Also there was a new
question raised througout the research project that wasn't resolved throughout the project.
