Cooling Load from External

Building Envelope

The formula for the OTTV of any given wall orientation is as follows:

glass solar glass conduction exterior wall

OTTV =

Heat Conduction through Walls 0.2% to 10%

Heat Conduction through Windows 15% to 25%

Solar Heat Gain through Windows 60% to 85%

OTTV = ((1-WWR)*Uw)*TDeq) + (WWR*Uf*T) + (WWR*SC*SF)

New Building ver 1.0 Aim:

To encourage the use of adequate daylight to reduce energy consumption and recognize building designs which optimize daylight.

Benchmark:
1. Using optimum natural lighting, so that, the minimum of 30% occupied area reaches at least 300 lux 2 points. 2. One point awarded for having lux censors to automate artificial lighting, once daylight is under 300 lux 2 points.

Tolok Ukur: 1A.
