The scope of the project is to develop the site similar to xing.com. This site is a worldwide business platform for professionals, connecting Know-how with know-who. Users can view job offers, contacts and people. This site allows users to see how people are connected. Users can view People Finder functionality on this home page. Users can find contacts, companies and coworkers. Users can view number of people as the search result. This site also has a multilingual feature (extra languages will be based on the current system and requirement). Users can view multiple languages option. Users can select any one of the language (by their desire) to view the site. Users can find new contacts by entering below details First name, Last name, Industry and City (Business). Users can view job offers that match user profile. Users can view site news. Users can make quick invite from this page. Users can view search agents page. Users can search agents. Users can expand their network. Users can view their My account page. This page will display the current status of the membership. This site will provide two types of membership for users Basic (Free) and Premium Membership. Users can upgrade their membership from this page (Basic to Premium). Users can make advanced search and power search to find the people. Users can search agents. Users can send and receive messages. Users can view and maintain their address book. Users can view map feature. Users can invite members and contacts. Users can create groups and maintain groups. Users can view public events, create events and search the events details. It is a globe (spherical or spread) rotating and randomly displaying different country flags. It can also be a fixed and spread globe with a selection of supported languages (represented by country flags) rotating around it. Design like http://www.cdnsol.com/?act=homeForm which shows a spread globe. It also shows different choices rotating. (The kind of rotation we would like to have for supported languages). The language selection animation to be in the header of the page, not in the body as represented in this site. 17. Chat Rooms / Talk Rooms / Video Rooms (FW-XN3-DF17) a. This is a service will be offered by the website where users can interact (chat or talk) with others by entering this room. The option for user to start a private room will also be available. 18. Forum (FW-XN3-DF18) a. This would be a typical forum area where users can ask and request free assistance from others, mainly workers. Once workers or other users will have answered the questions, the user who posted it will have to give feedback to them. b. Users will post their requests using a form. This request will then be published in this section so that workers can search and submit answers. Workers can be subscribed and notified when a certain type of request is posted. Workers will then send back a proposal with price that will be either accepted either amended and sent back either declined by the user. Any user willing to submit a request will have to have a payment method activated. 19. Feedback Mechanism (FW-XN3-DF19) a. All users will have the following feedback parameters: i. Experience: this parameter will quantify the number of issues sorted and requests completed that the user will have. ii. Reliability: this parameter will show whether the user has been reliable while paying for requests accepted. b. Additionally, the following parameter will only be available for workers: i. Request forms: when a user will request a service from a worker and will be accepted, both of users involved in this deal will be giving feedback to the other on the interaction they had. 20.
