OBJECTIVES: The students will get familiarized with some new vocabulary items connected to Easter. The main focus is on vocabulary and on enhancing students creativity. I will also work on my students reading and speaking skills. AIM: By the end of the lesson, the students will acquire new vocabulary items and they will be able to use them in new sentences and in everyday communication. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: Noise, and mispronunciation of some vocabulary items POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS: I will try to make the activities shorter (to keep the Ss attention), and involve as many Ss as I can. And considering pronunciation, I will repeat the new word as much as I can, check Ss pronunciation and correct them if needed. MATERIALS: Blackboard Posters (new vocabulary items) Picture of an egg Handout (text and exercise) Plastic eggs, Easter bunny basket, daffodils, chocolate bunny ADDITIONAL MATERIAL: Brainstorming (3 min) Hangman (5 min) Associations (7 min)

WARM-UP: I will write 3 words on the blackboard (fruit, clothes, animals) and divide the students into 3 groups. The representative of each group will write as many items of fruit, animals or clothes as possible. Only the correctly spelled items are taken into account. The group which has more items written is the winner. AIM: to create a working atmosphere, enhance competitive spirit, and practice Ss vocabulary.

INTERACTION: T-S, S-S TIME: 5-7min LINGUISTIC INTRODUCTION: They are to guess what is in the picture which is covered with the post-it notes; each paper has a number and they ask me questions about the mysterious object. When my answer is yes, I remove one post-it note. The mysterious picture is an Easter egg. Then I will ask them questions about Easter (Do they like Easter? What do they do with the eggs on that day? Do they go to the church?) AIM: to introduce the topic and practice Ss speaking skills INTERACTION: T-S TIME: 6-8 min PRESENTATION: I first distribute the text (the dialogue about Easter).
