INTRODUCTION
A) THE OATH OR SATSANKALPA OF YUG NIRMAN MISSION-THE ORGANIZATIONS MANIFESTO: I BELIEVE THEISM AND A ZEAL FOR RIGHTEOUS ACTIONS AS A SACRED DUTY OF HUMAN LIFE. These were the first lines of that official Satsankalpa and manifesto which can be called the preliminary proclamation of Yug Nirman Mission. For the first time in March 1962 Akhand Jyoti Magazine Gurudeva Shriram Sharma Acharya while writing about this oath had invited all to read this oath in a congregational manner daily at early morning hours and on auspicious occasions. While addressing all members of All World Gayatri Family, its branches and members who looked after various Jnana Mandirs (Temples of Wisdom) in the September 1962 Akhand Jyoti Magazine he writes that it is a seed thought on the basis of which the possibilities of Era Neo Creation shall successfully materialize. Only a thinker of revolutionary stature can talk of Era Transformation. Only he can think that this society over shadowed by rotting muck like beliefs shall transform only when each world human transforms him/her self from the very roots. No doubt everyone talks of reforming world dire situations yet by transforming ones mental state via the power to think awakens great resolves in the psyche so as to transform oneself totally entire world society too shall get transformed positively. Only a scholar who deeply cogitates over Philosophy and Psychology Sciences can think thus. A seemingly impossible task of Era Transformation can be given a social manifestation when its one unit viz. world society and its other unit called family along with innumerable world individuals undergo all round sanctification. When man transforms, contemporary times also transform. As soon as positive transformation sets in our viewpoint the environment too transforms. When each and every world human undergoes neo creation the entire era too shall get neo created. This observation can be made only by a person of Avatar stature who can visualize the future and change present times along with the subtle world for the better. Of course! Anyone can object saying that Era Neo Creation and Era Transformation are but gigantic terms full of flowery language. How can all this become a possibility when disparity, separatism and indolent blind beliefs have spread their net everywhere? Can we not skeptically say this is a utopia wherein we are not talking merely of positively transforming individuals and world society but an entire era? The answer is that since at the root of all this is sacred daring, terrific will power and desire oriented energy which is of the stupendous stature of Almighty God who had said: Ekoham Bahusyami. Further the promise of Dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge given to world humanity is the great resolve of this Super Human and its result is that transformation spoken of in this very distorted fragmented world and wherein all great thinkers of the world are

expressing their views regarding it has the principle of individual neo creation as its foundation. This gigantic congregation seen in the form of Prajna Family, All World Gayatri Family, readers of Yug Shakti Gayatri Magazine has been launched to such astounding heights via the Sanjivani of Satsankalpa (oath) which is seen today. Revered Gurudeva Shriram Sharma writes that for Era Transformation an Avatar is required that shall incarnate preliminarily as sacred aspiration. The subtle form of this Avatar is Yug Nirman Missions Satsankalpa or sacred oath. This utterance is of that great personality full of sacred taintless psyche who for his entire lifetime performed terrific austerities for this gigantic cause and thus in this fire of penance he got transformed akin to 24 carat gold. It his marvelous thinking that is creating an atmosphere of transformation in the subtle world. It certainly is not an overstatement if we say that this manifesto has manifested in the form of a sacred vow of Nishkalank Avatar (Taintless) himself. In this oath Gurudeva gives a prime spot to theism that eggs on individuals to tread the path of divine truth and teaches us all to live a life under the disciplining eye of Almighty God. Theism must be such it obstruct man from entering the portals of escapism and instead induces him to perform Karma Yoga so as to carry out righteous actions. This is true and active self surrender to God. Throwing more light on this revered Gurudeva says that whenever theism fructifies in life man will give main weight age to executing righteous duties. Our duty towards our body involves looking upon it as Gods temple and via the medium of self control and discipline the body must be rendered healthy, disease free and strong. It is even more important to render the mind crystal clear, taintless and sinless in comparison to keeping our physical body healthy. If mental health is sound and good our life force or Prana too shall be rendered sacredly potent. Mental distortions and bad feelings shall no longer harass us and diseases, worries shall run miles away from us. Mental reflection, scriptural studies that aids self introspection and association with great God Realized Saints is that medicine which by obstructing the psyche from running amuck shows it a right direction and eternally inspires it to undergo self creation and soul advancement. For imbibing sacred thinking great literature must be deeply read and ceaselessly one must do self study. By associating with great saintly people by living in large groups people must learn the art of harboring true thinking and this is the 1st lesson of the oath. If even this much is absorbed in ones daily living that person will positively get transformed and along with this others too shall get influenced greatly. Further he elaborates that as long as the sentiment of congregationalism does not evolve, as long as each person thinks only of personal selfish gains instead of world well being till then narrow minded personal selfish benefits shall remain in vogue. The root Mantra of spiritual communism as per Gurudevas opinion is My well being lies in the welfare of all. This then is the foundation pillar of unity, equality and social justice the world over. We must think not of Me and mine but All of us and useless differences of sects and gender must be uprooted. Today when in the entire world colonialism, royal rule and fiefdom has

ended and intense opposition is seen regarding castes/sects this utterance was so conducive contemporarily can be realized truly. Regarding imbibing certain qualities for inspiration for self reform he further says that by looking upon citizenship, ethics, human values, good character, discipline and generosity as true wealth I will march ahead in life by augmenting them manifold. We must pay due attention to the term true wealth. In this material world wealth is scattered everywhere in varied forms yet true wealth is that which converts human-man into divine-man. The above mentioned qualities if imbibed in daily living man definitely shall attain greatness and glory. He further says that within spiritual practices, self introspection, self control and selfless service to society entire Spiritual Philosophy of the world is embedded. In order to super impose great thinking after soul purification and via disciplined self control and augmenting great activities those who worship world society via selfless service no doubt shall tread the path of his own well being but further shall become an instrument in innumerable others attaining Moksha or salvation. In reality every alphabet of this Satsankalpa or oath is a seed of revolution. Even if one of these are imbibed in life not only does an individual spiritually progress rapidly but that the doorway of material advancement too is thrown wide open. Not only does the individual transform but those innumerable people in his contact too change positively. Revered Gurudeva who is an incarnation of Prajna Avatar after Buddha Avatar was completed has given us an aphorism which says that in comparison to traditions Vivek or discrimination shall be given due importance and in comparison to success attained via unethical illegal means failure faced while walking the road of integrity/ethics shall be revered and honored the world over. Lest discrimination exists in an awakened alert form in the midst of tradition the waves of blind beliefs pervading every nook and corner of the world shall come to a grinding halt. It is only when true discrimination goes unheeded that vile activities, tainted traditions and blind beliefs grow like weeds. But as soon as the eye of discrimination/Viveka opens all of the vile elements are uprooted. Today in world society human beings after taking up the shortcut of unethical means although initially experiences joy on attaining success hastily based on lack of farsightedness, ultimately rues and repents at leisure. If only a importance of ethics/integrity is understood on a permanent footing people shall accept that it is full of credit to walk on the path of ethics and lead a life of honesty. Thus mans success shall be gauged via that test which is based on how much ethics and integrity he imbibes in day to day transactions of life. Our revered Gurudeva Shriram Sharma writes that true righteousness and religion of this era is that by giving more importance to world welfare than selfish gains for augmenting great world well being endeavors inspires us all to donate one portion of ones time, talent, earnings, wisdom and hard work. A true Brahmin is one who earns with a 100 hands and

donates with a 1000 hands. Thus he inspires us all to imbibe this true Brahmin qualities in our life. Many have read that Atmanaha pratikulani paresham na samacharet yet those who actually imbibe this tenet in life rises high in the eyes of all. If we wish that others behave properly with us we too must behave well with others. All aspects like contact with lay public, art of good management, making others our very own beloved, Sanjivani Sciences art of living etc are embedded in one sentence viz. I shall not act and behave with others in a manner which I myself abhor. We can digest only that income got due to hard work and integrity. But if we earn via unethical dishonest means it shall harass us akin to pain of leprosy disease and also teaches us Isaac Newtons 3rd law of motion which says Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. By latching on to the path of dishonesty in order to earn untold amounts of wealth a person full of such greed is known to harass and oppress others. They attain the status of human ghosts and are censured insulted in society. But those who earn wealth via hard perspiring labor oozing with ethics/honesty is naturally full of generosity, gentlemanly behavior and loves serving the world selflessly. Those who lead spiritual lives must imbibe such ethics of life even if one has to face visible temporary losses. The next oath is looking upon world women as ones mother, sister and daughter because due to a tainted vision sexual lewdness and lust crop up like weeds along with other sins. While pointing towards a major foundation of world peace revered Gurudeva writes that half the worlds population consists of females. Hence if we harbor a vision of sacredness and reverence towards them then acts of oppression atrocities inflicted towards women shall halt and then both men and women united shall create a healthy and great world society. No doubt one can live a married life yet by looking upon procreating children only as a righteous duty one must abstain from harboring an outlook towards ones wife and other women in a sexual lewd/lusty manner. While comparing the importance of women to fire he says that women must be looked upon as one with warm good feelings and the very fount of life. By honoring womens sacred sentiments she must be given apt opportunities to rise higher in life. If we abstain from a lewd and lustful vision towards women by looking upon her as our mother/sister only then neo creation of individuals, family institution and society is possible. In the end our respected Gurudeva Shriram Sharma writes that man is the author of his destiny and it is he who designs his fate. Since man is a master of this extraordinary power he must harbor no uneasiness while proclaiming that lest he became supremely great and shall make efforts to render others great too this entire era too shall transform positively. As per the spiritual psychology based principle of Tanme manaha shivasankalpamastu this oath is so auspicious and great that this era shall definitely transform because I shall not be the same in future as I appear today. In comparison to the present I shall continue to

imbibe more and more great qualities henceforth and akin to iron turning to gold on touching the touchstone called Paras I shall render others who come in my contact greatness personified too. If this were to happen this era shall definitely transform positively because then world society shall ooze with great people, crest jewel like people who inspire everyone to imbibe goodwill towards all and divine personages who are full of sacred sensitivity. The belief that intense effort shall be given weight age instead of fate drips forth in this proclamation, that man is the author of his destiny. Such personalities who via intense labor render their future great and glorious, who spread their great aura everywhere akin to fragrance oozing from sandalwood trees and are called Creators of this Era not only row their boat of life smoothly but take others in their boat to land on safe shores of all round glory. When such people shall rule the world why wouldnt this era transform? Most definitely this era shall transform. This Satsankalpa or manifesto written by a Yuga Purusha is a document akin to a pillar of light for the long journey of Era Neo Creation. Later in 1989 this was given a well researched advanced form wherein the main proclamations remained the same as mentioned above. Yet certain aspects were newly conjoined so that they would be useful in contemporary times. In it true understanding, valor and responsibility were conjoined to honesty. In a new way the viewpoint of national unity and brotherhood was again elaborated upon and in the end while expressing his total faith in this oath he writes: IF WE CHANGE, THIS ERA SHALL CHANGE. IF WE REFORM THIS ERA SHALL REFORM. When Lord Mahakal speaks thus why wouldnt humans who are portions of his very divine cosmic soul act accordingly? The auspicious commencement of Era Transformation has already taken place and a New Era is definitely about to dawn. If we place steadfast trust in this and while transforming ourselves we rise higher in stature both materially and spiritually then most definitely the lion like proclamation of our revered Gurudeva 21st Century-Bright Future shall certainly materialize for all to see. When desire is purified by the intellect and becomes firm it is called Sankalpa or resolution. The energy of a resolution is infinite in measure. It is the most intense power of the world. This entire cosmic creation is but the firm resolve/Sankalpa of Almighty Lord. The same law applies for attaining other things in this world. Right from the social arena to the world of science whatever well known discoveries and inventions have been witnessed have a firm power of resolve as its foundation. This is required also for neo creation of a New Era. Circumstances never change merely by increasing material comforts and various resources. Vices cannot be overcome by mere meting out of punishment or instilling fear in a persons psyche. In fact for all this sanctity and purity of our thinking is most required. If

we desire to change our external circumstances we must transform its very fount which is our thinking process. Along with this we must carry out our righteous duties too. For all this definite guidelines are required. And hence Yug Nirman Satsankalpa is a definite step in this direction. The underlying sentiments of this literature are to easily depict at appropriate times, eternal principles and scriptural truths. We can take up the honor of leading in the direction of change with reference to its proper understanding, its deep mental reflection and imbibing of it in day to day living.

B) THE FOUNDATION STONE OF ERA TRANSFORMATION IS SATSANKALPA OR TRUE RESOLUTION: The seed of Era Transformation for which All World Gayatri Family is marching steadfastly and zealously ahead is Satsankalpa or True Resolutions. On its basis all our thinking, plans, activities and programs shall be designed. It can be called our manifesto too. Each one of us should daily read it at dawn akin to a daily religious activity and on auspicious congregational occasions, one person should read it aloud and the remaining assembled people must be made to repeat it. The power of resolve or Sankalpa is infinite. This gigantic cosmos is but the result of a tiny resolve of Almighty God. The Lord harbored a wish Ekoham bahusyama. It means I am one and I should become many. As a result of this Sankalpa or resolve 3 Gunas and 5 elements manifested and with its aid this gigantic world was created. It is due to mans resolve that this topsy-turvy world has attained a well managed form. Ere this aspiration had not awakened, a requirement was not experienced the creature called human being too would be awaiting death. Via the brain when the desires get sanctified so as to take the form of a definite decision it is called a Sankalpa or power of resolve. When the psyche focuses on any resolve then no major difficulty is noted in it getting materialized. The capability of the mind/psyche is unlimited. If a sacredly sensitive will power treads in a particular direction success is tasted with relative ease. If tainted resolves and Sankalpas reach their target what can one say of the power of wholesome great resolves? The cause behind the gigantic building of religion and culture present as a protective umbrella above the scalp of humanity is the resolve of great Rishis of yore. Sankalpa or resolve is the most potent terrific supreme energy in the entire cosmos. Vis scientific research innumerable material forces/energies have been mastered and this credit goes to the power of resolve of world humanity. At the root of progress and advancement noted in the fields of education, medicine, sculpture, industry, literature, art, music etc is human Sankalpa or mental resolve which can be called a tangible Kalpavriksha or Wish Fulfilling Tree. By giving a materialized form to aspirations

when man marches ahead in a particular direction of life with a firm resolve doubtlessly he tastes sweet success. Today every thinking person of the world experiences that in human consciousness those tainted qualities are rising alarmingly, due to which discontent and anarchic situations are manifesting the world over. Under such circumstances it is most required that positive transformation ushers in but yet this task cannot be executed merely by aspiring for it. In fact for this a definite direction needs to be demarcated and collective active steps are required to be taken for the same. Without this our desire shall be rendered a mere figment of fantasy. Era Creation Sankalpa or oath is a firm definite step in this direction. All sacred sensitive sentiments of this manifesto based on the ideal tradition of religions and scriptures has been put forth in a well managed way using straightforward terminology and minimum of words. We must understand this manifesto deeply. We must deeply reflect and ponder over it and decide steadfastly that we shall mold our lives using this very cast (manifesto). Instead of preaching to others we must focus our psyche on self/soul neo creation as mentioned in this manifesto. The most influential way in which you can broadcast this to others is that we ourselves imbibe in our lives, all precepts etched in this manifesto. It is only by neo creating ourselves that an important step can be taken in the direction of Era Creation. It is only when many drops of water unite that the ocean is formed. Similarly when many good gentlemanly human beings gather together a great society is formed. It is the widespread form of individual creation which can be witnessed as Era Creation. A clarification and detailed analysis of the sacred sentiments of Era Creation shall be read by our respected readers in the following pages. When our mind dives deep into these sentiments its collective form shall manifest as a an Era Aspiration and for its fulfillment many demigods, great saintly people and Almighty God taking Avatar as innumerable humans shall incarnate in this world. That Avatar required for Era Transformation shall first incarnate as a sacred aspiration. The subtle form of this very Avatar is Yug Nirman Missions Satsankalpa (oath based manifesto). We must gauge its importance with a very serious mind.

CHAPTER 2
WE SHALL LOOK UPON THEISM AND RESPONSIBILITY AS RIGHTEOUS DUTIES OF HUMAN LIFE

In the very first line of Yug Nirman Satsankalpa or oath it is written that religious theism and sense of righteous duty shall definitely be imbibed by all. Man has been commanded to imbibe spiritual responsibility in his day to day life. Over here the term spiritual duty does not refer to any particular religious community or caste. In Indian Culture the word Dharma has a very all encompassing meaning. Dharma is a discipline on imbibing which world individuals and society accrue benefits in an all round manner. Dharanat dharma ityahu gives the same connotation. In other texts Dharma is said to be material progress and a basis of spiritual advancement. Yatoabhyudayaha nishreyaha siddhihi saha dharma also means the same. Spiritual responsibility is that duty beyond ordinary mundane duties which a person imbibes in his/her daily life. Over here right from an individual to society and from materialism to all pervasive cosmic soul, the path of advancement is eulogized. Thus spiritual righteous duties must be faithfully executed even while facing hardships and dire situations as commanded to us by scriptures and great world philosophers. For the ushering in of a New Era a message given here is that faith in existence of Almighty God and righteous duties must be imbibed steadfastly. This is because if you fail to do so it is not possible to find definite solutions to varied problems of life. Without deep faith in God all our actions shall be converted to unruliness and vileness similar to a camel without a rein, a horse without a bridle, a bull without a noose and an elephant without chains. In this manner our actions shall rush in the direction of indiscipline, anarchy and in-ethics. Immense force is required to raise water from a lower to a higher level but for water to run from a higher to lower level no extra effort is required. Thoughts dwelling in our psyche too behave like water. If you want to tread the path of goodwill and greatness a lot of effort is required but if it insists on walking the path of lowliness and dishonesty no effort at all is required. Faith in Almighty God is a powerful chain that obstructs the mind from treading the path of lowliness and vileness. Mankind has found innumerous ways of hiding his sins and thus tries to save itself from royal punishment. On the one hand judicial courts, police, jails and various government institutions are set up to combat crime yet they definitely appear weak if we keep in mind the shrewd cunning way in which they slyly commit crimes so as to avoid judicial and other forms of punishment. Take the example of giving and accepting bribes. It is considered to be a major offense and all those indulging in it are given due punishment as per

government laws. Despite this everyone knows that bribes are both taken and given in courts, police stations, prisons etc. How thus can one expect exemplary ethical behavior from the lay public when officials who are appointed to stop criminal unethical activities themselves commit unethical acts like taking bribes etc? All possible methods are used by various government authorities to instill fear in the minds of common citizen in order that they abstain from illegal criminal activities. Yet know for sure that no true permanent solution can be got from this. As long as man is not faithfully steadfast enough to execute his righteous duties in a disciplined manner, till then it is well nigh impossible to cajole him to walk on the path of ethics and integrity. To a certain extent people can be induced to abstain from sinning via hard hearted terror instilling leadership. No doubt fear can be instilled in the psyche of people by chopping off the hands of a robber and chop off the head of an unchaste immoral person. Yet it is seen that those very people who order meting out of such harsh punishments themselves behave immorally and criminally since they have so much authoritative power that none dare oppose them. This is exactly what can be noted if world history of dictatorship in various parts of the globe is studied carefully. Thus those whom vile dictators terrorize become so supine and gutless that their very soul weakens a lot. Thus the urge to carry out small/big sins enters their psyche for survival purpose and hence mankinds character experiences a downfall day after day. Thus we cannot expect that a world swarming with people who are terrorized and fearful gives birth to great glorious personalities. When this clamp of fear and terror is loosened the so far obstructed urge to commit crimes now manifests as an onrush more swiftly. Thus it becomes virtually impossible to stop the flurry of illegal unethical activities spreading like wild fire the world over. Our personal and collective joy/peace is dependent on how many sacred ethical actions we execute. Sacred actions are fulfilled only if its fount within viz. our soul is pure and cosmic in nature. External solutions may give temporary success yet a permanent solution has its basis only on inner divine inspiration. By looking upon execution of duties as our sacred ideal the activities of greatness can multiply only when the minds tainted thoughts are controlled via soul discrimination/Viveka. One can never negate Almighty Gods omnipresence. Every object in this world has been created hence it can never be that such a gigantic well operated world has no creator. This divine creator oozes with spirituality, discrimination and sacred ideals. On the one hand this creator or God gives us innumerable joyous comforts and on the other hand he metes out to us all the god/bad reactions of every action that we execute in our daily lives. The cosmic Lord via his infinite eyes knows our hearts innermost secret and each thought fully well. Mans happiness and grief depends on his good and bad actions. The basis of undergoing happiness or anguish too is this tenet. A vile sinner can never escape punishment and it can never be that one executing sacred pious actions does not experience

joy and happiness. Akin to a neutral same sighted judge the Lord gives is good or bad fruits of our actions. Thus we will harbor deep faith in Almighty God which will destroy our vile nature and replace it with divine qualities. No doubt it takes time for fruits of our actions to ripen and mature yet there is no room for permanent darkness as far as justice is concerned. Thus man shall imbibe faith in God and not become a fallen soul. For this only one path is left open and that is humans imbibing gentlemanly qualities and performing righteous duties ceaselessly. True faith in God proliferate superb qualities like oneness of heart, compassion, affection, love, humility, fearlessness, true courage etc and thus man attains greatness and glory. While marching ahead on the path of integrity man many a times faces difficulties and seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Thus mans will power diminishes and his legs falter. Despite this a man of true faith is all the time aware that a Divine Power or God is helping him ceaselessly. Thus men of deep faith the world over despite appearing ordinary have executed historical great feats. Keeping this fact in mind the requirement of deep faith/theism in Almighty God has been given a prime spot in Yug Nirman Missions oath. Through devoted worship our soul force flowers fragrantly and subtly one gets inspiration o perform ones righteous duties. Based on this 2 aims get fulfilled viz. attaining lifes true goal of Self Realization and world peace. It is not just enough that we understand the importance of imbibing faith in God. In fact this faith must manifest from the deep cave of our soul and rise steadily day after day. Only then we can accrue true benefits of life. Faith in God deepens when one thinks a lot about him, when we worship him with love and when we meditate on him with discrimination or Viveka. Right from personal peace and happiness to advancement of world society, we can march ahead successfully. Even if it is a tiny effort yet within regular well managed meditation at the individual, family and congregational level, if deep reflection on Almighty God is encouraged with alertness and zeal it proves to be beneficial both materially and spiritually. The fruits of harboring faith in God results in our executing our righteous duties devotedly. A person who ignores his righteous duties and instead via some worship rite tries to get boons of wealth and fame from Almighty God or instead prays to God to protect him from sinful actions he has performed can be called deluded and ignorant or one who is overly shrewd and wily like a fox. The Lord never gives such boons to sinners and wicked people. In fact the very preliminary fruits of deep faith in God are that we get inspiration to carry out righteous duties that are but divine commands of God and that we steadfastly continue with these duties. If we wish to infer how much faith a person has in God we must gauge of what stature are the duties that he performs towards family and society.

While searching for the cause of failure and mishaps in this world one stumbles upon this fact that since people have ignored their righteous duties they undergo such dire situations. World progress in a multifaceted manner depends on proper execution and determination. The more an individual executes his/her righteous duties the more he/she attains fame and success. Such personalities are showered with honor, affection and cooperation from all directions. As a result despite availability of only limited resources and minimal power they advance astoundingly in life. Within the realm of spirituality benefits accruing from execution of righteous duties zealously is incomparable. The saying that The Lords love gets showered on all those who perform good actions and execute their righteous duties is 100% true. Such high stature self satisfaction experienced by people who are profoundly dutiful is not to be found elsewhere. In the vision of Almighty God the image of a dutiful person is one without a second. Thus such a stream of self satisfaction flows in him that in comparison to this all achievements of this material world fade away to insignificance. The arena of righteous duty is quite widespread. To human life are conjoined various types of duties and responsibilities. Man must execute varied duties towards body, mind, soul, family, country and world society. Dutifulness encompasses its true understanding, its maintenance and its deep imbibing in day to day living. Dutifulness can be sanctified and enhanced via ceaseless spiritual pursuits. A man who madly rushes after material wealth and various comforts wagers big bets for the fulfillment of his various desires. An aspirant who yearns to imbibe true dutifulness must advance his valor and courage. Certain duties are handed over to us and if we accept them we must look upon them as a question of our spiritual dignity. Before gauging our success-failure, loss-profit, praise-censure etc we must note how alert and thoughtful we are in executing our righteous duties. Man is required to perform duties the moment he wakes up in the morning till he sleeps at night. One must daily self introspect as to whether these duties are carried out without fail on a regular footing. As soon as we open our eyes in the morning we must tell ourselves that life indeed is full and complete. In this life span we have to fulfill our duties assiduously. As soon as we wake up in the morning mentally make a note of all duties to be carried out during the day. Thus our time for work shall not be wasted in thoughts of various pros and cons of tasks to be performed. Whether the number of duties is more or less we must firmly resolve to carry them out even if death stares at us. At night before sleeping ask yourself a question mentally as to how many duties were you able to carry out successfully from amongst those you had planned to execute in the morning? If you err doing so even a wee bit, you must repent, atone for it and rectify the mistake. Of course you must become very happy on noting that you have responsibly carried out your duties demarcated for that day. One must thank God heartily for giving strength to perform these

duties. While preparing to sleep at night pray for more alertness and integrity to execute duties the following day. This daily routing is very beneficial for an intellect that has deep faith in God and in one whom the sense of executing righteous duties has advanced manifold. One should praise oneself only if righteous duties have been executed zealously. When self praise conjoins to dutifulness no doubt one performs more and more duties in a steadfast way. Further if in our daily transactions we respect others, agree with their wholesome views and cooperate with them as far as these duties are concerned no doubt execution of duties zealously shall spread out in the entire world. Thus these sort of efforts must be made both at the individual and world society level.

CHAPTER 3
BY LOOKING UPON THE BODY AS GODS TEMPLE WE SHALL LOOK AFTER ITS HEALTH VIA SELF CONTROL AND DISCIPLINE

All those people who are closely related to us along with those whom we come in contact regarding this, our physical body is our closest relative. It is thus very important to harbor a good relationship with it and rendering it healthy and secure. Both, either labeling the body as perishable and thus totally ignoring it or totally immersing oneself in adorning and beautifying it are erroneous viewpoints. Instead we must take the middle path so as to imbibe a balanced vision. It is most appropriate that we look upon our physical body as the sacred residence of Almighty God. We must always be detached mentally from the body and use it for executing all righteous duties. While getting immersed in decorating and beautifying the body it is sheer stupidity to forget Almighty Gods presence in it. And yet it is also erroneous on our part to render this body called temple of God unclean, unheeded, fallen and tattered. Based on our whimsical habits it is a crime to render our body disease prone. If we ignore the healthy upkeep of our body we shall have to face punishment from nature like pain, uneasiness, weakness, dying very young, financial loss, insults from others etc. Illnesses do not always attack us from outside the body. Germs are either already there in the body or they attack from the external world. Mental aberrations that result in diseases exist in our body itself. But the body has a wonderful capacity of throwing these germs of illnesses outside. Due to lack of sense organ control man destroys a fair amount of his life force. Due to lack of control as far his eating, resting and other activities is concerned it is a big blow on his digestive system, blood circulation and brain ligaments. When attacked repeatedly all these weaken and man invites illnesses. Weak bodily centers disallow inner bodily disturbances to rush out of the body in a natural manner. As a result these distortions collect in the body and are emitted from the body very unnaturally. This resultant situation manifests as illnesses in the body. It certainly is not difficult to render the body illness and disease free. If each individual balances his/her eating habits, honest hard work and sleeping habits optimally good health can be maintained and one can live for a long time span. It is not as though the laymen are unaware of other rules of attaining good sound health. With a little effort these rules can be understood correctly. It is not difficult to maintain a daily routine that is devoid of lethargy and honest hard labor. It is very much possible to maintain a daily routine that encourages

eating habits resulting in good health instead of titillation of the taste buds only. In optimum quantities we must eat food that is easy to digest. One must not rush after material pursuits in an insane manner. The body can be rendered fit and fine by giving it proper rest also. Sometimes we fail to keep our body fit because of lack of self control and imbalance of bodily activities. Thus despite being gifted with a precious rare human body we live in hell like situations full of strife. The chief basis of good bodily health is self control and discipline. On ignoring this and instead trying to keep the body fit by mere administering it various medicines is like running after a mirage in a dessert in the hope of getting water. No doubt when required medicine must be taken which is like using a stick for support to walk yet true good health is akin to walking with our legs devoid of support. Via self control our life force remains potent and this in turn nurtures good physical health. One can give importance to the body only if we look upon it as a temple of God. You must keep it miles away from artificial beauty aids and make up. It is our sacred duty to keep the body clean, healthy and strong. By observing fasts regularly control your taste buds and avoid over eating. By observing silence of speech (Mauna) and sexual continence protect the life force from dwindling away to naught. Undergo spiritual practices so as to focus the life force and rendering the mind introverted. Our daily routine must be conjoined to discipline and thus chaos of any sort can be avoided. By being more alert everything can come under our control. In this manner all bodily benefits can be accrued that have been put forth both by scriptural scholars and modern day scientists.

CHAPTER 4
a) BY LOOKING UPON THE MIND/PSYCHE AS A CENTRAL POINT OF FOCUS WE SHALL ALWAYS RENDER IT PURE AND SACRED b) WE SHALL EXECUTE SCRIPTURAL STUDIES AND ASSOCIATE WITH GREAT SAINTLY PEOPLE SO AS TO PROTECT THE MIND FROM TAINTED THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS

Akin to the body people err as far as the mind too is concerned. While decorating and beautifying the body they pay no heed to render it healthy, energetic and disease free. This is exactly what happens to the mind or psyche. People give more importance to the whims and fancies of the mind but do not render it full of mental energies, sacred and cultured. As a result of this folly at every step man faces mockery in life. Along with a fit body it is essential to render the mind potent and optimally healthy. If our body is healthy but our mind is disturbed we shall pay no heed to disciplining it, we shall become egoistic and shall not only harm ourselves but that we shall inflict pain on others too. Classic examples of this are demons and hooligans who ultimate face a killing downfall in life. Crimes noted in this world are but reactions of an agitated tainted psyche. It certainly is not erroneous to label the mind as a central point of focus of our lives. Every action and behavior of humans commence from the mind. Mind is known to create many resolves and imaginations. If the mind takes up a particular direction our actions too shall walk in that direction. Based on our thinking we make efforts accordingly and the reactions too are of that nature. Hence at every step scriptural scholar give immense weight age to the importance of the psyche. The author of the scripture Bhagwad Gita opines that the mind alone is both the cause of our bondage and freedom or salvation. This definitely is not an overstatement. Merely for fulfilling a miniscule fleeting desire a person shall not hesitate to kill another individual. On the other hand we have generous hearted people like King Shibi who for others welfare donated his bodily parts by chopping them off. One person uses heinous means in order to harm others whereas there are another set of people who believe in self sacrifice for well being of fellow creatures. All these good/bad happenings can be called miracles of the psyche. When the mind resolves to do something it does not give importance to material gain/losses accruing on the way. For creating an endearing situation man is ready to lose his all and face untold hardship too. When the mind veers towards truth i.e. it aspires for sanctification, creativity and advancement of the

soul, a miracle ensues. Thus an ordinary looking layman too can rise high up in life so as to be called great. The main stumbling block is the mind straying towards falsehood and delusion and hence it must be guided towards truth and integrity. Once the mind yearns for truth man in the truest sense of the term shall reach heights of divinity. Thus human man becomes a divine man. Very much akin to dutifully looking after the body we must pay due attention to the psyche too. If we harbor bad thinking and tainted sentiments our mind is rendered foul, impure and sinful. Thus the minds previous greatness and glory fade away to oblivion. It is hence our prime responsibility to protect ourselves from such dire situations. Akin to giving food to the body to render it healthy scriptural/self study is a must to give the mind a wholesome direction in life. In order that our soul gets rejuvenated it is most required that we meditate, reflect and deeply cogitate upon those great sacred texts that solve lifes problems. This activity is called Swadhyaya in Sanskrit language. Further if you associate with enlightened self realized masters/Gurus who help solve all our mundane and spiritual problems can prove to be greatly beneficial. Alas! Today there are so many so called saints and preachers, flocking like flies and mosquitoes in every nook and corner of society. They have opened shops where they give discourses that dangerously aid flourishing of people indulging in indolence, giving up duties, despair etc. Such so called devotees become fatalists wherein they lean like handicapped people on others for sustenance of daily living. Thus it is best to avoid listening to such preachers who shower deluding speeches ceaselessly (It is like a blind guiding another blind person). Very similar to this in the name of scriptural studies if we read books superficially which does not help solve lifes problems or mechanically worshiping demigods, know for sure that it shall not aid in the fulfillment of the ultimate goal of life. Let us all try and understand the importance of this precious human life. We must take this golden opportunity and make wholesome use of it. No doubt we do get entangled in our day to day chores hence we must transform positively our mental qualities, actions, inner nature etc. all this can be done by deeply reading good sacred books that inspire rejuvenation of the soul, encourages holy association with great self realized Gurus, induces us to execute self introspection and mental reflection. Minds nature is that of a small child. It oozes with enthusiasm and likes to do or talk about things all the time. If we fail to give an apt direction to the mind it shall destroy oneself and others. If a child is given such activities which it is actually capable of executing it remains self satisfied and gives satiation to others too. Depending on its power of imagination of the mind if the doorway of good thinking and sacred sentiments is thrown wide open it becomes contented and proves very beneficial to others in society too. We must help bloom wholesome sentiments like affection, gratefulness, friendship, cooperation, generosity and so on. Along with this if great thoughts like imbibing honest

principles in life, steadfastness, great actions, honest hard work, ethical activities, selfless service and cooperation are nurtured with care ceaselessly then vile thoughts and tainted emotions can never dare enter our psyche. The mind on an average is greatly influenced by circumstances and the environment. In such situations malefic influences must be obstructed by harboring good sacred thoughts which are bang opposite to tainted thinking. As soon as bad thoughts of selfishness, deceit and lethargy creep in they must be eradicated by deeply meditating and reflecting over extraordinary progress made by people who are hard working and honest. If someone behaves despicably with us we get angry and harbor enmity towards that person. Such negative reactions on our part must be washed off by sympathizing with the other persons helplessness in behaving badly and we must try and show compassion to them. Such goodwill based attitude can be imbibed only via study of sacred books, association with great God Realized saintly people and honest self introspection. It is well known that iron metal is cut by iron itself. Hot iron can be cut by a cold iron chisel. When a thorn pierces our skin another thorn is used to remove it. Venom destroys venom and weapons attack other weapons. If we wish to remove air from an empty glass it should be filled with water. As soon as water enters the glass air come out automatically. If a family keeps a cat as a pet shall rats ever enter that house? In order to eradicate vile thoughts keep thinking about good thoughts. When the mind overflows with pious thoughts bad thoughts shall go away akin to a traveler who on seeing a guesthouse full goes away quietly. We shall always get protected from attacks of tainted thoughts as long as we are involved in reading scriptures and attending sacred discourses by self realized masters and Gurus. Just as bread and water are most required for good health of the body similarly for rendering the soul balanced and advanced good thinking and sacred sentiments must be supplied to the psyche in infinite measure. This requirement can be fulfilled via study of great world scriptures, association with great pious saintly personages and meditation. For the advent of a New Era and self creation this is the chief method. For purification of the mind and imbibing a powerful resolve this is the best medical therapy.

CHAPTER 5
WE SHALL LOOK UPON OURSELVES AS AN UNDIVIDED PART OF WORLD SOCIETY AND THUS OUR WELL BEING SHALL LIE IN THE WELL BEING OF ALL OTHERS

The principle of social justice is such an incisive reality that it cannot be ignored even for a moment. If one class of society faces injustice the other classes can never live in peace. If an iron rod is heated at one end its heat slowly travels throughout the rod. Entire world humanity can be compared to this iron rod. If it is heated or cooled in any particular region the rest of the rod or society too gets influenced accordingly. Thus everyone must get social justice equally. Everyone must be handed over their basic human rights. Without creating such circumstances our society can never get freedom from oppression. At the political level based on socialistic ideology people are talking loudly about economic equality. Communist countries in a frenzied manner and socialist nations in a little less frenzied manner are marching ahead on these lines. This has been a spiritual tenet right since time immemorial. In it hoarding excess wealth is considered a sin. It is sinful to amass joyous material comforts along with hoarding of excess wealth. Although it is ordained by great scriptures to earn wealth with a hundred hands we are also commanded to donate the same with a thousand hands. Do not allow the tainted quality of hoarding to enter your psyche since it has the capacity to proliferate infinite vile thoughts. When does someone start hoarding excess untold amount of wealth? He/she does so when stinginess, selfishness, lack of charitable disposition and hard heartedness fill up their psyche in a reeking manner. As compared to such stinking rich people there are laymen who live in the midst of hardships since they do not have even basic requirements to sustain life. Their children are illiterate like them and cannot pay for their medical expenses. Thus a person can become wealthy only by turning a blind eye to such poverty stricken people or else by throwing at their faces miniscule materials in the name of charity. True social justice proclaims that anyone has the freedom to earn untold amount of wealth yet while making use of this earnings others in society especially the needy and downtrodden must be included. We must all eat and enjoy things together in the spirit of world brotherhood. Thus live and help others live too comfortably. We must all undergo joy and sorrow realizing that we are all brothers and sisters. If joy and sorrow is shouldered by a single person he shall wilt under its burden. But if everyone shares happiness and strife together united no one shall be over burdened unnecessarily. Everyones heart shall become feather like light and venom of separatism and partitioning shall be obstructed from spreading in world society.

Just as the precept of economic equality is eternal so too the ideal of equality as far as social justice and human rights is concerned must be adhered to fully. One cannot challenge it. A persons human rights cannot be snatched away merely because he/she was born in a particular caste, clan, religion etc and neither can person be considered of higher stature because of his birth antecedents. The test of whether we are high/low in stature or great/lowly are what kind of character, activities and nature we possess. It is on individual capability and high stature inner personality that one is revered or censured. Just because one is born in a particular clan or family one cannot be labeled great or lowly. These indiscriminate beliefs crop up like weeds where people are full of arrogance. Todays reawakened world is swiftly uprooting such despicable thinking. Men certainly cannot be called superior to women just because they have more physical strength and might. All human beings that include males-females equally must get access to basic human rights. At birth itself every human being without exception has a right to become an equality based citizen and this tenet must be accepted by all. As long as human beings are not duly handed over their social rights they will be treated like animals in a cage. Thus more than half the worlds population shall be rendered slaves. India on attaining political independence accepted equality of all forms for its citizens yet today half its population adding up to women do not get basic human rights. The Shudra class or laborers too do not get these rights. One fourth of Indias population constitutes of high status people who full enjoy all rights. Hence the remaining 3/4 th population too must be given all rights in an equal manner. Without this our political freedom shall remain incomplete and unfulfilled. We must all realize that we like cogs in the wheel are an inseparable part of society. Each part/organ of the human body is interrelated and similarly world humanity united sail in the same boat. If one cog/part of the watch is breaks the entire watchs machine stops functioning. If one bodily organ gets diseased the entire body suffers in anguish. We are all connected to each other like pearls threaded in one string. A chain is firm and strong if all its rings are tightly bound to each other. If these rings separate then the entire chain becomes scattered and broken. How can a rope remain a rope if dry grass from which it is made scatter hither and thither? How can we make a broom if its sticks refuse to bind with each other? How can the mighty ocean be formed if its drops of water selfishly wish to lead a separate existence? It is only when citizens dwell united that a community and country can exist. If various sects are formed since people think differently, harbor separate selfish desires etc a country, society and country shall become fractured devoid of unity. A country or society is a collection of those individuals who harbor a sense of oneness, aspire to imbibe great sacred ideals and are ready to give up their very lives for protection of these ideals. The fount of all such energy is this sentiment of united oneness. In order to render this energy intact each world human must look upon himself as a part of that cosmic divine form and believe that he is an honest cog of the nation and worlds

machinery. It is most required that they harbor faith in the collective welfare of the world. On the basis of this very foundation our all round material and spiritual development shall definitely take place.

CHAPTER 6
WE SHALL GIVE MORE IMPORTANCE TO COLLECTIVE NEEDS AND HAPPINESS IN COMPARISON TO PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PLEASURES

When it is declared that our welfare lies in the well being of all people argue that one should look for everyones welfare in our own well being. If this is true why should we think about our well being? Over here we need to differentiate between sense pleasure and welfare. Pleasures are experienced based on our beliefs and education whereas welfare is connected to eternal cosmic principles and laws. We may accrue pleasure in sleeping very late at night or eating just about anything and everything yet our well being lies in getting up early in the morning, honestly working hard in day time and with self restraint/discipline. As a result in our Satsankalpa or oath it has been ordained that individual pleasures shall be looked upon secondary and collective or world societys welfare shall be given a prime spot. A direction has been laid down for those who say that individual desires are a part of collective needs and hence one must stick to the former. If anyone yearns to fulfill their desires through collective wants it should be done so in a limited manner. Fulfillments of our requirements can be thought of only up to a certain extent wherein it should not harm fulfillment of societys needs. Abandoning personal desires for fulfillment of collective desires are called good pious deeds and true spirituality. It also goes by the name of patriotism, self sacrifice, greatness etc. By accepting these ethics man becomes glorious because he executes world welfare tasks. He gives inspiration to others while treading the path of sacred ideals and thus helps his country and the entire world radiate. This is that road that leads to heaven and spiritual liberation or Moksha. This the way one attains God and Self Realization. Bang opposite to this is a person while satiating selfish desires ushers in downfall of society. He is not bothered that others due to his selfish pursuits face hardships, immense losses and pain. This can be termed an offence towards the country, society and ones religion. This is also called offensive psychology. It certainly paves the way to hell. It is the road of self destruction and downfall. While treading this path man crashes into the crater of total destruction that gives hell like agony. We must hence realize that our salvation lies in the progress of society. We must give up insane running after personal joys and comforts and instead zealously take up tasks of world well being.

CHAPTER 7
WE SHALL LOOK UPON GOOD QUALITIES LIKE RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP, ETHICS, HUMAN VALUES, SACRED CHARACTER, DISCIPLINE, GENEROSITY, WORLD ONENESS, EQUALITY, TOLERANCE, HONEST HARD WORK ETC AS OUR TRUE WEALTH AND WE SHALL CEASELESSLY IMBIBE THEM IN OUR DAILY LIVING

This world is like a mirror. If we are beautiful or ugly we shall see it reflected in the mirror. This world behaves aptly with gentlemanly people. Saints are respected and thousands of people prostrate to people who take up world welfare tasks on a war footing. Selfish people are looked down upon. Those who insult others are ignored totally and those who execute tainted activities become demeaned in society. Those who just cannot trust anyone in the world find enemies at every step in life. Poverty engulfs those who live indolent lives and spew foul words on others without any rhyme or reason. If we are endowed with humility, sweetness of nature, magnanimity and benevolence the doors of love, cooperation, wealth and progress are thrown open wide from all sides. Spiritual success with reference to salvation, heaven, divine powers and glories are heavily dependent on how sacred and pure is our soul. It is a fact that the therapy of spiritual pursuits works only when importance is given to those dos and donts that lead to self sanctification. Those who are wicked and full of despicable sentiments never gain success either in this or the next world. Yug Nirman Mission is the worldwide movement of self creation. When many sticks unite, a broom is formed. Many soldiers united form an army. In the same way when pious personalities unite this era can get transformed positively. The meaning of Yug Nirman is rejuvenation or neo creation of world individuals which includes advancement and sanctification of our character, activities and inner personality. For the fulfillment of this goal it is necessary that every person studiously gauges his/her own errors and inner weaknesses and honestly labors intensely so as to eradicate them. Ordinarily when we use the term wealth we mean it to be cash, jewelry, property etc. People labor hard daily to amass this material wealth. Based on their circumstances, capabilities and shrewdness people earn wealth and buy material comforts. If we deeply cogitate over these mundane activities of world humanity we can conclude that they are incomplete, one sided and erroneous. Material wealth can give bliss to only those who possess the spiritual wealth of a pious great character. If spiritual wealth is lacking people

who amass material wealth ultimately become tainted in thinking. They are rendered egoistic, undisciplined, arrogantly boastful, addicted to alcohol/drugs, greedy and execute unethical activities. They are full of discontent and are enmeshed in the net of jealousy and hatred towards others. Bang opposite to this a person oozing with a great sacred character no doubt uses wealth earned by ethical means for buying joyous comforts for himself and his family yet he will donate a major portion of his earnings for benefit of world society. Thus true utility value of material wealth like cash, property etc is heavily dependent on whether one possesses spiritual wealth like a sacred inner personality oozing with goodwill towards all in society. Wealth attained by wicked people as inheritance not only gets used up quickly but it inflicts only hardships on oneself and ones family. Thus we can label material wealth like cash, jewelry as transient and fleeting and that true wealth we possess constitutes a good sacred character that inspires us to execute ethical activities for not only ones family but welfare of the world. Mans true character is tested via whether he runs after fleeting sensual pleasures and self aggrandizement or whether he selflessly pursues for well being of entire society. Examples of great human qualities are being aware of and imbibing duties of a good citizen, human values, good nature, discipline, generosity, oneness of soul, experiencing joy and sorrow of others as ones very own, respecting others feelings and endurance, coordination and understanding, speaking sweetly, good manners and exhibiting trustworthiness and gentlemanly behavior with everybody. All these must be enhanced by us in our inner personality with consistent effort. Since money does not remain with anyone forever Goddess of Wealth called Lakshmi is called fickle. One slap from undesirable circumstances can destroy ones life long earned wealth. This slap could be in the form of dire illness, court cases, robbery, business loss, lavish marriages and tainted situations. Thus in no time we see very wealthy people rendered poor paupers. Against all this the wealth of a great sacred character is such that the more strife one faces the more this spiritual wealth augments. It is like heating gold which becomes purer and dazzling. When under very dire situations of hardships we exhibit our great character it enters the annals of world history. There is an incident wherein Karna even though lying injured on the battlefield himself broke his tooth made of gold as charity. This episode will remain eternal as long as the earth and skies exist. Harishchandra, Shibi, Dadhichi, Moredhwaj, Shaivya, Sita etc had to undergo fiery tests to prove their great character. This spiritual wealth remained eternally with them after unfurling the flag of victory of passing those tests. This is the true wealth of world humanity and thus we should make ceaseless efforts to augment it manifold. Material wealth like cash, jewelry, property etc is akin to a shadow of the body called true wealth comprising a great pious character. An ideal society thus can be created only on the basis of the above mentioned stupendous human qualities. Death of these glories results in tension, anarchy and poverty in the

world. Hence at every level i.e. individual and world level, ceaseless efforts should be made to augment true wealth of great character by leaps and bounds.

CHAPTER 8
WE SHALL NEVER HARBOR LAZINESS OR INDOLENCE AS FAR AS SPIRITUAL PRACTICES, SCRIPTURAL STUDIES, SELF RESTRAINT AND SELFLESS SERVICE TO THE WORLD IS CONCERNED

In great scriptures of the world 4 ways in which soul rejuvenation takes place is mentioned. They are: 1) SPRITUAL PRACTICES 2) SCRIPTURAL STUDIES 3) SELF RESTRAINT 4) SELFLESS SERVICE TO THE WORLD

1) SPIRITUAL PRACTICES: It is improper that we ignore worship of Almighty God

in our daily schedule of activities. Even if our psyche does not get focused fully yet we should make spiritual practices or Sadhana a daily routine. Whenever anyone attains soul energy its basis has been worship of God with faith on a daily footing. It does not matter if we worship Almighty God who is all pervasive, neutral full of justice and who showers happiness or sadness on us based on what type of good/vile actions we execute only for 15 minutes. Yet we should worship him daily even if it means doing so while we are awake or sleeping. The question is how inclined are we to meditate and worship God. Even if ones attraction for the spiritual path is very little yet bliss keeps increases as days pass by. True meaning of meditation does not include superficial worship rituals or praying to the Lord to fulfill our selfish desires. The meaning of Upasana or meditation means sitting in the vicinity of Almighty God. If we sit near fire we get warmth from it and if we sit near a huge slab of ice we get coolness from it. Thus true worship and meditation on Almighty God increases divinity in us along with godliness. The ultimate goal of all worship/prayer is to render divine our aspirations and behavior. If this actually happens man conjoins to that great Cosmic Divine Power and thus gets endowed with infinite divine energy.

True meditation takes place when worship rites conjoin to divine sentiments. Even if we execute very little amount of worship rituals yet there should be a deep yearning in the devotees soul to merge into the cosmic divine form of Almighty God. One should have deep yearning akin to a mother for her beloved baby, a cow harbors towards its calf, a butterfly rushing madly towards a flame lamp etc. Thus a divine miracle ensues. Worship rite is one aspect. True spiritual pursuit involves rendering divine our life, behavior and thinking process. If we orient all our action in the direction of pleasing Almighty God our lives will bloom with sacredness and good management. Rishi Valmiki previously was a dacoit but when he commenced spiritual practices albeit in a very immature manner yet a miracle ensued. The credit goes to his intense regular spiritual endeavor. Thus all of us must give due weight age to spiritual practices on a daily basis.

2) SCRIPTURAL STUDIES: We all use soap to clean dirty clothes. Similarly

scriptural studies that help us self introspect purify our dirty minds. Mans specialty is his intellect and rendering our thoughts apt and cultured is dependent on scriptural studies. Today there is a dearth of great saintly people the world over. Since they lack enough time it is difficult to get their sacred association called Satsang. Under these circumstances scriptural studies help overcome this lack of saintly association. Just as due to lack of availability of food/water it is difficult to keep the body alive similarly if scriptural studies are ignored we cannot render our soul advanced and well balanced. No doubt it is best that illiterate people listen to spiritual lectures and discourses. Just as wealthy people earn good merits while donating food items during times of famine similarly it is the righteous duty of saintly people who have mastered great scriptures to read aloud great sacred literature so that those who are illiterate can hear these. Thus the saintly person attains good merits for becoming instruments in sanctifying the souls of those who cannot read and write. Swadhyaya or scriptural studies involves either reading sacred books or listening to discourses given by great self realized masters/Gurus. Yet know for sure that reading or hearing just about anything under the sun is not Swadhyaya. True benefits of studying scriptures encompass its positive influence on the direction of life after due mental reflection and meditation. We must daily read such literature that inspires us to live lives of greatness and glory.

3) SELF RESTRAINT: Self restraint/control is the fount of infinite energy. Although

man has attained a lot yet he can gain much more. In the absence of self control and restraint man wastes his energy resources and thus there is no question of him attaining newer things. Self restraint means obstructing wastage of energy in dangerous and unimportant tasks and instead utilizing the same for fulfilling great tasks full of human glories. The arena of self restraint is very widespread. It includes mastering the 5 sense organs, sanctifying ones behavior, time management and rendering wholesome ones thoughts and emotions. With such a broad vision in mind all devotees must imbibe self restraint. It is most required that we control and master our sense organs. Acts like eating like a glutton and lewd lustful sexual passion must be seriously controlled. Along with this we must master our thoughts and inner nature. In order to obstruct our thoughts straying in erroneous directions we must ceaselessly imbibe great pious thinking. If the intellect is vile our thoughts too will be vile and if our intellect is sacred our thinking too shall be pious. This world is full of dualities. Thus our intellect must weigh the pros and cons of any incident taking place in our lives. Thus in moments of anger, instigation and rank emotionalism a balanced intellect will not act one sided and thus we can face all good/bad situations calmly. Even tiny incidences generally agitate us all. Thus we face a downfall due to wrath, passion, hatred, enmity etc. When we act rashly we do not even for a moment think of the dire consequences we shall have to face in future and thus we marry in haste and repent at leisure. The chief aim of control of the psyche is to give up childish thinking and render it mature, potent and serene. True self restraint involves both controlling the 5 sense organs and mastering our psyche by rendering it sacred and focused. There are varied forms of self restraint. Examples are marking the time span for sexual continence, controlling taste buds via fasts, observing either silence or controlled speech, time management, wealth management, with an alert mind creating balance of thoughts and sentiments, as per tenets of Indian Culture rendering our needs moderate etc. Thus all who follow this shall benefit both materially and spiritually.

4) SELFLESS SERVICE: In order to gauge how much a person has progressed

spiritually he/she should be tested for his/her yearning to serve society selflessly. Selfless service is that fire which tests the purity, sanctity, generosity and spiritual stature of our consciousness. It has been prescribed that 1/4 th of our life span should

be used for selflessly serving society called Vanaprastha before renouncing the material world and taking up asceticism or Sanyas. Those who shun selfless service and aspire to advance spiritually merely via meditation and other spiritual practice are akin to a child who wishes to graduate to high school from kindergarten directly bypassing all grades in between. Selfless service to society is but the external manifestation of pious thinking. The symbolic proof of purity of ones soul is selfless service and devotion to spiritual ideals. Selfless service is directly related to self contentment. When we work for the welfare of others without us wanting anything in return it immediately manifests as self contentment. The latter is that Soma Juice mentioned in Indian Mythology called Puranas drinking which Rishi-Munis entered the portals of divinity. Those who achieve self contentment via great sacred actions never undergo dissatisfaction. From societys standpoint selfless service has great utility value and this gives an opportunity to fallen souls to rise higher up in life and poverty stricken class get both material and spiritual happiness. Sharing joy and sorrow of others no doubt is Spiritual Bolshevism. If wealthy people share even a small portion of their comforts with the poor fraternity their (rich class) non required burden is lessened and also gets that joy which a person suffering from stomach illness gets by emitting foul air from the body. In this manner if the rich share even a little bit of sorrow of those who are poor the latters hardships can be overcome in a big way. If one person possesses salt and another person possesses sugar and both do not share these with each other their food is rendered tasteless. But if both share things they can eat both salty and sweet food with taste. In material communism there is a cry for sharing wealth. In spiritual communism world humans must share their joys/sorrows like closely related family members. An active manifestation of this is selfless service to society. Service is very much a part of good ethical behavior, it is the main step of spirituality and it can be termed the pillar of world societys progress and all round development. The sacred actions of cooperation and congregationalism can bloom forth only in the midst of intellect based generosity. Only then can various countries and hence the entire world become prosperous and advanced. It has always been stressed that no lethargy should be shown towards spiritual practices, scriptural studies, self restraint and selfless service. Laziness and indolence strangles our life force and hence we must run miles away from them. They are more destructive when they cross all limits so as to deter progress in life. Hence one should not give even an iota of a chance to these foes dwelling in our psyche by rooting them out totally.

We should be very firm and steadfast so that we remain disciplined. Laziness and indolence can be uprooted by taking vows of not eating food before offering worship/prayer to God, not sleeping without studying sacred scriptures, atoning for not observing self restraint and punishing oneself for ignoring selfless service to the world.

CHAPTER 9
WE SHALL CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT OF SWEETNESS, CLEANLINESS, SIMPLICITY AND MAGNANIMITY THE WORLD OVER

Under ordinary circumstances man is definitely influenced by the environment. The qualities listed above are most required to create a cultured society. Whenever it blooms in any person his/her inner personality gets influenced positively. Other people love contacting and associating with such a person and they shower love, reverence and cooperation on him. Sweetness should be imbibed both in ones speech and behavior. Cleanliness is regarding both our inner psyche along with the body and surroundings. Simplicity is directly connected to our thoughts and sacred ideals found in them. Gentlemanliness is imbibed via magnanimity. Hence all these are necessary for advancement of our inner personality. The most required characteristics of being humane are to create an environment of sweetness, cleanliness and gentlemanliness. A sandalwood tree lends fragrance to everything in its vicinity and a candle not only is self illumining but lights up surrounding dark areas. The area surrounding an ice slab becomes cool and if we sit near fire we get warmth from it. If we wish to test whether someone has imbibed these qualities or not we must check whether he/she renders his/her body, clothes, house, gadgets etc clean or not. A person can be labeled a beast if he/she keeps his belongings and surroundings disorderly, filthy and dirty. If ones psyche is sacred and crystal clear one will keep ones body and surroundings clean too. Inner magnanimity manifests as external humility and sweetness. Harsh speech is used only by wicked people. A person is labeled wicked if emotions like hatred, sarcasm, ego, unruliness, complaints etc emanate from him/her. Suppose we are unable to give some object to someone yet at least as per human values we can speak sweetly with them. The Indian cuckoo is eulogized since it possesses a sweet voice and a crow is censured for crowing harshly. Do we even have the right to call ourselves human beings if we refuse to utter sweet words, behave ethically and magnanimously? If a person and his/her surroundings reek of hatred, discontentment, chaos and filth he/she shall be said to be lacking in human values. It is our prime duty that we become like the sweet perfumed sandalwood tree that spreads its sweet fragrance in all directions.

CHAPTER 10
WE SHALL GIVE MORE IMPORTANCE TO VIVEKA OR TRUE DISCRIMINATION IN COMPARISON TO OBSOLETE TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS

God has given man an intellect that can discriminate what is right/wrong, conclude aptly, make correct decisions etc. Based on this he executes his daily activities. Generally it is seen that this faculty of discrimination which works alright in day to day chores gets marred when man faces important situations. At such times only a rare persons discrimination is alert else during agitations people run amuck akin to dry grass during cyclonic storms. People blindly follow others akin to sheep going in the direction that herds of theirs take them in. if one sheep jumps into a well others follow suit and thus lose their precious lives. Monkeys and chimpanzees are known to ape and imitate. They act exactly as others do. When man too apes others he/she can be called a child of chimpanzees. In society prevail customs that are in vogue but they do not benefit us at all. Thus by aping such customs blindly we head towards a downfall in life. The undesirable habits of smoking cigarettes and drinking tea/coffee are on an alarming rise. Small children also drink it in style. It is believed to be a status symbol full of trendy fashion. We think we are very fashionable and thus try to prove ourselves to be a cut above everybody. Influenced by such delusions we even indulge in narcotic drugs and ultimately we become such drug addicts that it is difficult to give up this vile habit. Intoxicants like alcohol, tea, cigarettes, hemp, cannabis, heroin etc are dangerous addictions. These reduce our mental and physical health drastically and further our finances and expenses also go down the drain. An intoxicated person loses a pious sacred character so as to become fallen in life. It brings about an onrush of anger, lust, worry, hopelessness, lethargy, hard heartedness, suspicion etc in the psyche. Although at the intellectual level addicts of narcotics, alcohol etc know the evil dire effects of drug abuse yet they are helpless in warding it off because their faculty of discrimination or Viveka weakens miserably. Such people like blind sheep follow a herd of other blind sheep. Can we call this intelligent on mans part? Hindu society is being rendered so fragile due to imbibing of blind erroneous traditions that the middle class section of society is unable to meet ends. Marriage of their children is akin to a ghost hanging above their heads so as to devour them or it is akin to a knife hanging on ones head. For the entire marriage program the families have to cough up and

blow up large amounts of cash and jewelry. Killer dowry is like the naked knife of a butcher that terrorizing drinks the blood of innocent brides. People are forced to observe outdated customs like feeding hordes of individuals when death takes place in the family. During marriages and hair cutting ceremony of children they have to give expensive gifts to their relatives. Thus their entire lifes earnings go down the drain in these obsolete useless customs. Hardly any money remains when new jewelry is bought for the bride. If one fails to do all this there is a danger to ones life, there is envy and overall downfall yet this is tradition. People ask as to why they should refrain from following others. It is just astounding that in front of blind traditions people lose their faculty of discrimination. This is akin to a goat chopping off a lions head. No doubt it appears very strange yet this is exactly what is taking place. It is ordained in the resolve of creation of a New Era discrimination must be rendered triumphant. You must do what is right; accept that which has worth; do what needs to be done aptly. While mulling over questions like what will people say and think, we must note that there are 2 classes of people. One is very alertly thoughtful and the other is wayward and thoughtless. A few individuals with true discrimination have more merit than millions of people who lack farsighted discrimination. In world history the number of deeply thinking people have always been less. In a forest jackals are known to outnumber lions. Yet the roar of a single lion overpowers the howling of a hundred jackals. Even if a few people of the thinking class take steps oozing with discrimination then the widespread fog of distortions seen all over the world shall be destroyed as is the case when the sun shines brilliantly in the sky. This needs to be done in order to give a correct direction to the potentials and talent of world humans.

CHAPTER 11
WHILE TREADING THE PATH OF ETHICS WE SHALL GLADLY ACCEPT FAILURE INSTEAD OF DESIRING SUCCESS USING FOUL UNETHICAL MEANS

In the eyes of lay citizens only success is given weight age in life. Whosoever succeeds is eulogized. No one pays attention to the fact as to whether this success has been attained ethically or fraudulently. It is a known fact the world over that even cheats, robbers, criminals, terrorists, dishonest etc people amass a lot of wealth. Via the shrewdness and wiliness of a fox one can attain a high status in society. People merely note this high status and wealth hoarded in order to sing their praises. Thus it is in our best interest to cogitate over the fact as to whether such thinking is right. Know for sure that in comparison to mere success ethics have more weight age. Suppose a person treads the path of integrity and fails to reach his goal, even then it is highly commendable. The deep import of honesty is eternal whereas that of success especially achieved via tarnished means is fleeting and transient. No doubt when success eludes us while working ethically some discomfort has to be faced yet if you give up ethics/honesty you lose this world and the next, you never attain self contentment, your character becomes tainted, you stray from the path of true religion, you tend to ignore your righteous duties and thus not only your own well being but that of society too diminishes dramatically. Lord Jesus Christ surrendered by climbing on the cross yet refused to give up integrity. Shivaji, Rana Pratap, Banda Vairagi, Guru Gobind Singh, Lakshmibai, Subhash Chandra Bose etc stared at defeat yet the manner in which they acted valiantly their failure had more fragrance than victory. Those who are steadfastly religious and act piously experience sheer bliss in executing righteous duties. They are not bothered about success because they know that devotedly carrying out ones duty is itself a great success. If one has to choose between dishonesty that breeds success or failure while being honest and ethical it is best to side with such so called failure. Those who walk on the path of dishonesty and crime for gaining material comforts later face immense hardships in life. If we stray from the path of ethics we can never attain the true goal of human life. A human being in order to succeed may ignore sacred ideals but know for sure that he/she shall never attain eternal bliss. Suppose a person jumps from the 10th floor of a building to reach the ground floor directly and fractures his hands and legs in the process, can we say that he has succeeded in reaching the ground floor quickly? Thus it would have been better if he/she had alertly used the stairway to reach the ground floor even if it meant it would take extra time. It is a mockery to aspire for success if it means ignoring ethics and

human values. Thus every thinking person should be alert, accept the path of ethics and try to attain true success that has its basis in sacred ideals.

CHAPTER 12
MANS CHARACTER SHALL BE TESTED ON THE BASIS OF HIS SACRED THINKING AND ACTIONS AND NOT ON HOW MUCH SUCCESS, PROWESS ETC HE HAS ATTAINED BY RIGHT OR WRONG MEANS

Mans greatness shall be tested on the basis of how much of sacred ideals has he himself imbibed and encouraged other to follow suit. Capabilities and talent are but means. By itself a stick or knife can neither be eulogized nor censured since they are but mediums to carry out good or vile tasks. We must check whether the knife or stick has been used for protecting oneself and others or has it been used for destructive harmful purposes. Only on this basis can they be admonished or praised. One can test whether we use our talent with thoughts and actions that are meant for well being or harming others. If our thoughts and actions are wholesome we are of good character and if they are tainted our character too is lowly. Mans prestige should be conjoined to how sacred his character and activities are instead of correlating it to how much inert wealth, property etc he/she has amassed using right or erroneous means. Only if he is true, ethical and pious in nature must he be honored by society. True prestige is always eulogized and people get inspired to follow the ethical path taken up by such a great personality. We must be cautious as to whom we respect and whom we censure. Thus we will not stray from the path of honesty or veer towards falsehood. Ordinarily a wealthy person who has tasted material success is showered with praises. People bow down to those who perform miracles. Yet know for sure that this attitude is full of error. People amass wealth and skills not only to hoard joyous comforts but also to gain a prestigious status in society. Such people generally attain this at any cost be it following a right or fraudulent path. Why is such an alarming rise being seen as far as crime and illegal activities the world over is concerned? The answer is that people deluded praise any type of success whether it is ethical or criminal and look down upon failure totally without delving into the fact whether the person who failed was walking the path of honesty or not. Thus it is best that we honor wealthy people only if they have earned wealth via ethical honest means. If we erroneously honor wealthy people who amass wealth via crime and dishonesty the latter will execute more and more unethical activities. Thus in a certain sense those who respect wealth earned by foul means are considered criminals for encouraging falsehood in world society. Thus we can inspire everyone to walk on the path of honesty by praising truth and help people avoid the path of falsehood by censuring dishonesty. If we abide by our voting rights

the act may be very tiny yet its results are widespread. Similarly by respecting ethical honest people in society the repercussions spread the world over. A small number of votes can change the balance of elections. The elected person on gaining a high status can play an important role both nationally and at the international level. A small number of votes can give very important repercussions wherein otherwise impossibilities can be made possible. Thus if we respect others using our faculty of discrimination we can obstruct the lay public from treading the road of dishonesty and those who so far hesitated to walk the path of integrity shall henceforth march ahead at a brisk pace in an ethical manner. There are many people in this world who despite facing major obstacles ceaselessly execute activities oriented around sacred ideals and honesty. Such people must be publicly honored and eulogized. As against these those who carry out unethical activities using dishonest illegal means must be publicly censured even if they are wealthy and big shots in society. Further if great leading persons of society turn a blind eye and refrain from censuring unethical criminal people it is considered an indirect form of encouraging falsehood. The lay public follows what great men think and do and hence great leaders of society must laud honesty and avidly look down upon unethical dishonest activities. Thus it is our direct or indirect approval that breeds either honesty or dishonesty the world over. We must never weigh a person on the mere basis of success and talent he/she possesses but we must note whether it has been attained and used via ethical honest means or not. We must look down upon a billionaire who has amassed wealth by foul unethical methods. As against this a poor person who has imbibed ideals and honesty in life must be praised, respected and helped wherever necessary despite not having attained success in life. We must pay heed to the fact that as long as we do not change our yardstick while respecting and eulogizing people who earn wealth by fraudulent means the wicked shall arrogantly twirl their moustache to the extent that those who are honest today will give up their ethical ways in an angry way simply because their honesty does not give them respect and prestige in society while wicked criminals are showered with honorary titles and eulogies. In the Yug Nirman Missions oath an intense inspiration has been outlined wherein we shall value and test a person not by his/her material success and attainments but whether he/she has imbibed ethics and ideals in daily activities or not.

CHAPTER 13
OUR LIVES SHALL BE DEDICATED FOR MATERIAL/SPIRITUAL WORLD WELFARE AND NOT FOR SELFISH GAINS

Almighty God has certainly not given man so many comforts and specialties so that he selfishly enjoys them and involves himself in ensnaring puzzles of creating and then dousing the fire of selfish desires and lust. Ere God had given these comforts merely for sense merriment that has not been given to other creatures, God could be called partial. Why would God unjustly be biased in favor of humans and ignore other creatures. If this were the case how can God be called neutral, father of the cosmos, same sighted and full of justice? In comparison to other living beings mankind possesses collective treasure of glories like intellect, radiance, capabilities, sacred sentiments, speech, knowledge, wealth, art, beauty, scientific brain, power etc. The key of a nations vault lies with the finance minister yet it certainly does not mean that this national wealth can be used by the finance minister for personal use and fattening his/her own bank balance. The General of an army distributes bombs/weapons to his soldiers and also gives commends yet it does not mean that the General can use all this for personal benefits. Is it proper that a person working in a mint that makes new coins and notes of money uses it for personal aggrandizement? Many high stature officers are appointed as government administrators. They are given certain powers and authority to run this administration smoothly and for their personal benefit they can use only the salary handed over to them by the government. Since amongst all creatures created by God he is considered the eldest son, man is also looked upon as a prince, minister, treasurer, Army General etc of Almighty Lords creation. He has been given more powers/authority by almighty God in comparison to what is handed over to other creatures. This power is meant to carry out Gods commands to the last letter and is not meant for selfish aims. No doubt man should provide food material comforts etc to his family yet whatever time, energy, money remains after doing this must be used by him for welfare of world creatures, for their overall well being and eliciting sacred sentiments of world brotherhood in their psyche. This is his prime duty. Those who ignore this duty shall be labeled criminals and shall be duly meted out punishments. Government servants are prohibited from executing personal tasks while on duty. The reason being that if people, dissatisfied by the salary they get will do extra jobs while on government duty, so as to eke out an extra income. Thus government servants are warned not to take up work other than that handed over to them by the government for which they get payment. They must use all their time, energy and

skills for this purpose. If any government official ignores this prohibition and instead works for personal aggrandizement he may be punished or rusticated from his job. In the Yug Nirman Missions Satsankalpa or oath world humans are exhorted not to restrict their time, talent and income for selfish gains and sense titillation but that it is meant to take up the path of spirituality and working selflessly for world welfare. In the Bhagwad Gita it is said that those who earn and cook food only for themselves without sharing it with others are called criminals. Thus we are commended by Almighty Lord to earn wealth with a hundred hands and donate the same with a thousand hands. We must share whatever we earn with society. In comparison to other creatures man possesses extra great qualities which he has not earned himself but is the gift of immense honest labor put in by great saintly leaders the world over. If this were not the case man like other beasts would have been twiddling his thumbs and whiling away time. This sacred activity of great saints like self sacrifice and benevolence can be called true religion, culture and humaneness. Based on this we can march ahead on the path of all round development. If such sacred activities dwindle away to naught, if man insists on thinking about selfish sense gratification only no doubt human culture shall get destroyed. As a result of this by overlooking Almighty Lords divine commands man will face untold hardship and vile situations. If we ignore spiritual tenets we are cutting off our own legs with an axe. It is sheer foolhardiness to live life selfishly and thus destroy a spiritual environment that springs forth in our inner being based on the edifice of peace and harmony. Imbibing such stupidity leads to multifaceted hardships akin to what we are staring at today the world over. Ultimately the whirlpool of world problems shall ignore us.

CHAPTER 14
IN ORDER TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE AND ENCOURAGE ETHICAL SELFLESS ACTIVITIES WE SHALL DONATE A PORTION OF OUR TIME, TALENT, WISDOM, HONEST HARD WORK, WEALTH AND INCOME

If we wish to lead a sacred spiritual life it does not mean that we do just about anything and everything in its name. True spirituality means imbuing our energies in great tasks so as to attain their fulfillment. Right from the arena of our inner being to the external mundane world, sacred actions must be broadcasted and augmented manifold. Good activities seen the world over is but the fruits of a great pious psyche. If seeds are sown properly a lush green outfield shall sprout forth. How can a plant grow without a seed? Good or vile activities do not sprout on their own as a coincidence because behind them lie good or bad thoughts of the mind. Just as a seed sown sprouts forth at an appointed hour so too great thoughts bloom in the form of sacred holy acts. A persons bosom devoid of sacred sentiments and good thinking can never execute great activities in the world. If we study people who carry out good deeds know for sure that they have imbibed great ideals, sacred thinking etc and thus have mastered their beastly instincts. Vile wicked people dwell in a fallen state because they do not understand the deep import of sacred thinking and thus did not get highest benefits of life. Deep down man actually is a black and ugly piece of iron. It is only when he is touched by the touchstone called Paras that he turns into gold. An ordinary layman attains greatness as soon as he imbibes great thinking based on sacred ideals and acts accordingly. A person not endowed with all this can never realize the glorious goal of human life. Thus he will never make efforts to aspire also for this. This world of ours flowers with activities of spirituality and well being. But at their fount are sacred sentiments in the mind and soul. Know for sure that seemingly great actions are facades if they lack pious sentiments at the mental level. Many institutions of the world put on a garb and faade of spirituality which is akin to a wily fox wearing the skin of a lion. None benefits from these organizations because people tend to shun and mock this sort of superficial so called spirituality. Even if a corpse is adorned with exotic clothes and sprayed with perfume yet none shall get attracted to it. Thus so called world welfare activities lacking sacred sentiments and a sense of goodwill to all will only lead to peoples downfall and none shall accrue any benefits. Wickedness is on an alarming rise the world over because wily people reeking with vile behavior, tainted psyche, undesirable activities and insulting speech are ruling the roost in

large numbers. Messengers of goodwill talk more and act less. Thus the message of camaraderie and brotherhood does not spread far and wide and akin to inert vegetables in a basket, there exists merely superficial giving and hearing of flowery discourses. Thus whatever people hear superficially merely is relegated to lip service and no great qualities actually manifest in their day to day transactions. There exists no greater task in this world apart from helping lay public to imbibe great ethical actions in life. During times of need various organizations and institutions too could help a great deal. Of course this is not a permanent solution. From the financial standpoint only a wealthy person can do philanthropy in a big way. Yet just about anyone can help solve societys problems via their hard labor and true farsighted discrimination called Viveka. If we continue to depend on others for our needs it is certainly not laudable and no permanent solution can be found. The innumerable hardships seen in individual lives and also the world level are but due to a vile tainted intellect. These hardships can definitely be uprooted if man gives up bad habits, sanctifies his inner nature and renders well balanced his thoughts and actions. Welfare of world humans and society is greatly dependent on how many great sacred activities bloom forth the world over. In ancient times many sacrificed their all for world welfare. Thus they were labeled great and akin to true Brahmins they arose high on the pedestal of life. Since encouraging pious well being tasks the world over is a very important religious principle, people who are at its helm must be given a prime status in society so that the lay public follow in their great footsteps. Greatest charity is called Brahmadan. It means sharing and spreading great divine wisdom everywhere. This wisdom helps people remain steadfast as far as honesty, human values and ethics is concerned. In the Yug Nirman Missions oath we are inspired to spread Brahmadan in every nook and corner of the globe. When todays withered world psyche is watered with the nectar of divine wisdom flowers of world well being shall bloom forth manifold. This great activity verily is Punya or meritorious deed for which Almighty Lord lovingly has handed over talent, energy etc to humanity. We must definitely utilize a major portion of our time, talent, knowledge, effort and wealth for spiritual activities. These must not be wholly and solely used for selfish sense gratification but that a great part of it must be used for spirituality and world well being activities. Just as we daily carry out various chores so too spirituality to should be imbibed daily and know for sure that it is the greatest activity both in this world and the next. If we truly feel any task to be important it will never appear to be burdensome to donate our time, skills, honest effort, knowledge and wealth for it. In fact one shall feel that it is the most meritorious and worthwhile deed of all human lives. In order that meritorious deeds are protected and augmented manifold within the Yug Nirman Mission movement many programs have been designed. Everyone can easily avail the Jhola or Chal Pustakalaya (mobile libraries). Ones talent must be used for such purpose. Anyone can put in great effort and donate their time for such great programs.

One should resolve to do thus steadfastly. If eminent persons of the world publicly eulogize such tasks a lot of all round world development can be witnessed. Wise people via their scholarly approach and practical inspirations can execute such deeds on a war footing. Wealthy people can donate their valuable resources for fulfilling this mission of world well being. If each individual donates minimum one hour of his time and 10 cents or better one days earnings for the augmentation of great welfare tasks that their efforts shall be etched in letters of gold in the annals of world history.

CHAPTER 15
WE SHALL NOT BEHAVE IN A MANNER TOWARDS OTHERS WHICH WE OURSELVES ABHOR

All of us yearn that others behave and act in a gentlemanly, sweet and generous manner with us so that it aids our overall progress in life and that others do not act in such a way with us that obstructs our happiness and use of material comforts. But know for sure that others too expect that we behave in a wholesome honest manner with them. It is certainly is a 2 way traffic. If we wish that no obstruction comes in the way of fulfillment of our needs but that we keep on fleecing others why will others behave honestly and appropriately with us? There exists what is called the law of give and take. If we think it is perfectly alright not to help anybody, not be of use to others, do not behave generously, humbly and politely with others then be ready for consequences like facing unruly behavior from others and thus getting hurt either physically or mentally in the process. In countries like India people travel a lot by trains especially for long distance journeys. Thus if we see other passengers sitting with legs/hands spread out and bedding on the seat we naturally have to stand. If we ask such people to sit properly so that we too can get a place to sit, they are up in arms against us. To avoid such a rowdy situation we tend to keep quiet and complete our journey standing. At such times we inwardly curse such selfish people who pay no heed to others comforts. Yet there are times when we get a place to sit in trains and we too behave selfishly. We too sit by spreading our legs and act rudely with fellow travelers. Is this double faced behavior proper on our part? When our daughter becomes of marriageable age we yearn that the grooms family is kind hearted enough and does not ask for dowry. We tend to curse those who demand a dowry. Yet when our own son is ready for marriage we too thoughtlessly demand a dowry from the brides family. If others rob or cheat us we feel hurt but when we loot others we pat our backs saying how shrewd we are. If this double faced behavior reigns in world society how shall we all attain true everlasting joy and peace? If someone takes a loan from us when he is in dire need we wish that this man always remains grateful to us and that he repays the loan as soon as possible. If this man remains ungrateful and refuses to repay us how bad we feel. Thus when we take a loan from someone we too should harbor gratefulness and repay the money as soon as it is possible to do so. Why should we keep this money taken as loan from us for more than the required time? We all the time wish that people behave and speak humbly, sweetly, with love etc. We feel very hurt if others speak venomously, harshly or behave indifferently with us. Thus we must remember that we too must speak politely, lovingly and not utter foul

language with others. During times of strife we expect other peoples help. Thus is it right that when other people undergo trying times we behave rudely or indifferently with them instead of helping them out lovingly? When we become aged we expect our children to look after our needs since we have nurtured them right from childhood to adulthood while enduring harsh times too. Yet our own behavior towards our aged parents is despicable and hard hearted. Say can any good accrue from imbibing such double faced principles? We expect others to respect our wives, daughters etc and not act lewdly with them. Thus is it apt that we look upon others wives, sisters etc with malicious lustful looks? If the pain and anguish of other creatures is looked upon as our very own, how can anyone eat flesh of other living beings? How can we behave unjustly with all creatures? How can we behave dishonestly, demeaning and cast aspersions on others without any rhyme or reason? When we make big or small mistakes we expect others not to attach too much importance to it and follow the tenet or forgive and forget. Thus others also shall expect from us that we behave magnanimously with everyone and that when others err we too generously forgive them. If we expect gentlemanly behavior from others we too should follow in their footsteps. Of course wicked people may not return our friendly behavior. There is no dearth of beastly people in this world who benefit from other peoples generosity but in return spew venom and hatred on pious people. There are many vile people who attack those who work selflessly for the welfare of all. Of course we must be cautious enough not to imbibe their venomous hateful nature yet we must not renounce our gentlemanly behavior just because such wicked people thrive in the world. Clouds shower rain everywhere; mother earth shoulders the burden of all and tolerates urine and feces too of all creatures. Thus why should we too not imbibe such power of endurance, greatness and magnanimity? Many a time generous people are cheated by wily sly people and thus they suffer losses. But know for sure that in comparison to these losses those who benefit from the benevolence of great saintly people number up in high measure. Overall gentlemanly people always benefit. Selfish people who do not help others in need too are ignored and hence remain devoid of any benefit. Under such circumstances stingy, sly and fox like wily people always accrue losses in comparison to pious saintly people. Unethical shopkeepers who gulp double profits by cheating customers in the ultimate sense never progress in life. Such shopkeepers can be compared to selfish rowdy people who behave indecently with everyone but expect that others behave kindly and give a helping hand to them. Such lowly behavior can never aid others joys and progress in life.

CHAPTER 16
WE SHALL ACCEPT WEALTH ONLY OBTAINED BY ETHICAL MEANS AND HONEST HARD LABOR

In the Yug Nirman Missions Satsankalpa or oath it has been emphasized that we shall behave in the same loving respectful manner with others exactly as we expect them to do the same. In this behavior honesty has a prime spot. There are many flatterers who utter sweet words yet since their intentions are selfish and wily this sweetness is but superficial lip service. True sweet speech must include integrity and honesty of mind. Honesty is like gold and goodwill is akin to fragrance added to glittering gold. Over here the value of gold is n times more than that of fragrance of politeness. If iron is rendered fragrant there shall be no takers for it. Dishonest but sweet talkers are very dangerous to deal with. Since externally they are sugary sweet but within very unethical and wily innocent people generally get deceived by them. If one ekes out income via honesty it is akin to that powerful medicine which even if taken in miniscule dose renders us healthy. By giving up lavish spending and imbibing an economical way of living even a low income family can lead a happy contented life. Of course it is perfectly fine to try and earn more wealth yet after using this extra income optimally the remaining should be donated for societys all round progress. We should never look down upon wealth because it has its utility value. Money earned honestly and ethically can not only uplift ourselves but that the world too can reach pinnacles of glory. No doubt wealth earned by dishonest, illegal and unethical methods shall always be censured and it is seen everywhere that such black money gets wasted in drug addictions, alcohol, gambling etc that ultimately crashes us to a downfall in life. Many people lured by the urge to earn more take up the path of dishonesty and via fraudulent illegal means harass others in the process. They take advantage of helplessness of people so as to fleece them and thus hoard money earned unethically. Many believe that to indulge in gambling, speculation, robbery, taking exorbitant profits, giving/taking bribes, deceit, adulteration etc to be a symbol of their great brain and thus try to become millionaires in a very short time span. Although such people amass money by taking undue advantage of gullible laymen yet know for sure that this tainted wealth does not last long. Such unethical people fall down in life so painfully that apart from lamenting and burden of sins no benefit accrues. Never can people live happily and serenely in this world if they execute tainted vile activities. Wealth earned via fraud and deceit may give temporary sense titillation yet it departs so quickly that it leaves people wailing aloud in anguish. Wealth attained without hard work especially as freebee gives birth to a vile malefic

character. Those who get wealth as inheritance never possess a level headed intellect. This is because infinite vile qualities creep into their brains that pave the way for a crashing downfall in life. If we devour arsenic we die immediately but slow poison intake invites death albeit slowly. The difference between earning wealth dishonestly and obtaining wealth with honest hard labor is akin to devouring arsenic and slow poison. It is best to avoid both at all costs because ultimately they destroy us. Thus very alertly people must earn wealth by honest hard effort. In this manner even if we earn less we can make do with it by leading a frugal life of simple living and high thinking. If the intellect used to earn wealth unethically is instead utilized for helping decrease our daily expenses, rendering our lives well managed and augmenting honest hard work skillfully most definitely everyone can solve their financial woes. The self satisfaction that we get from eking out an income via ethical hard work leads to overall good health, deliverance from Almighty Gods fury, all round progress and a sense of inner bliss since great saintly people shall appreciatively pat us on the back for our good selfless deeds. This is the path not only of material benefits but also of attaining Moksha or salvation. The true symbol of high intellectualism and farsightedness lies in walking on the path of this truth.

CHAPTER 17
THE WIFE SHALL REMAIN FAITHFUL TOWARDS HER HUSBAND AND THE HUSBAND SHALL BE FAITHFUL TOWARDS HIS WIFE

It is very important that a husband and wife harbor respect and sacred vision towards each other. Thus there shall ensue, soul advancement, social progress, happiness and peace. Those taking a vow of celibacy and those who remain unmarried must harbor a pure pious viewpoint towards all males and females. A lewd lustful outlook can mar relations between people. Harboring sanctity in thought, word and deed obstructs any form of destruction in our lives. A woman can be said to be a true chaste creature in the world. In the form of a mother she has manifested in this world with unbound affection. She has established herself as an image of surrender, self sacrifice, love and charitable disposition. As a sister she is akin to a Goddess endowed with love, magnanimity and affection. As a daughter she renders this arid world serene full of gentleness, softness, straightforwardness and shuns all forms of slyness. The Lord has filled her with an infinite storehouse of truth, prosperity and beauty. Divine light drips from her very eyes. Even if 1 ray of this light enters the soul of a hard hearted person his wilted soul shall bloom forth fragrantly. It is women who get the credit for rendering the weak and challenged energized and powerful. She converts inertness into inspiration, sentiments and vigor into sacred consciousness etc. In her presence the fate of an ordinary person radiates greatly. Women are known to experience self satisfaction and calm contentment. The importance of women can be compared to blazing fire. Fire the very fount of our lives and in its absence we are rendered lifeless and devoid of vitality. No amount of eulogies can fully describe the greatness of women the world over. Despite all this fire is known to burn too. Similarly if she is looked upon lustily she shall raise her hood akin to a venomous black cobra. Amongst her innumerable glorious qualities there is a quality of hers that gives pain and that is her sexually alluring nature. If she is looked at or touched amorously or lustily she manifests her fangs of anger and bites that lustful person. A crab appears beautiful to look at but if we touch it, it bites us painfully and injects its poison in us. The honeybee is so benevolent. This bee hums in a buzzing manner. A spider walks about with colorful legs. A was sitting on the roof appears attractive. Yet if we dare touch any of these creatures they attack us painfully. In the form of sexual passion a small packet of venom is hidden within women and hence we must save ourselves from this dagger even if it is made of 24 carat gold.

Apart from your wife by looking upon a woman elder to you as your mother, one of same age as your sister and one younger than you as a daughter, one should bloom these sentiments more and more so that we attain joy and bliss akin to the affection we experience while sitting at the hallowed feet of Goddesses Saraswati, Lakshmi and Durga. We Gayatri devotees look upon a womans form as the most sacred stupendous image of Almighty God. The philosophic basis of our devotion is to look upon the Lords infinite compassion, sanctity and magnanimity in womens pure soul. This should be our hallowed vision not only during times of daily worship but in every moment of our day to day transactions. We should look at women in a pure hearted manner and never visualize or touch her lustily. If one wishes to sire children the husband wife duo can undergo a shadow of sexual passion and a little lust if it is beyond our control. In great scriptures even a bit of lust is disallowed and the act of sowing a sperm in the wifes womb is looked upon as a sacred rite like thread/hair cutting ceremony and hence our sexual union too should be full of sacred spiritual sentiments. But today after studying mans inherent weakness a little bit of lust is permitted in ones married life. Apart from this outside the periphery of our marital relationship we must treat other males/females as our brothers and sisters. The aim of true marriage is to render the souls of husband-wife as one which means 2 bodies but one soul. They must shoulder the burden of life as faithful partners and discourage each other from executing sinful activities. We have demeaned the piously pure image of women via lewd movies, indecent literature and fallen intellect and thus rendered her lewd and sexually amorous. It is certainly insulting the greatness of world women by dubbing her lewd and lustful which is akin to robbing a stone image of God from a temple and using it to hit and harass people. Such a despicable standpoint is not only demeaning and hateful, but that it is dire and strife inducing. Such undesirable thinking has to be nullified from our psyche and society at large and reestablish that image of women which glorifies whole of mankind. In the above lines we have depicted the standpoint of man with reference to a woman. Thus we can also give the type of standpoint a woman should harbor towards a male. As far as the designing of the genital organs is concerned there does exist a minor difference between those of males and females. Yet from the standpoint of skills, intellect and sentiments both men and women are equal. No doubt both possess specialties and a few imperfections yet they cooperate with each other to attain self fulfillment. Husband and wife should not be dependent on each other merely to satiate their sexual urge. If both the husband and wife harbor purity, sanctity, dutifulness, respect and loving affection towards each other a sacred relationship with firm foundation can be developed as is between mother-daughter, father-son and so on. In the realm of sacredness infinite power dwells that cannot be experienced at all in hell like conditions of impurity. True love and lust are as different as heaven and hell. In lewd sexual lust exist hatred, jealousy, bossing, narrowness, selfishness, uncontrolled passion, superficial beauty, trouble, despair, grief, downfall, decline, criticism

etc but yet true love is beyond all this negativity. In sanctity dwells self sacrifice, generosity, magnanimity, well being, oneness of soul and peace and no negativity can even dare touch this realm. In the Yug Nirman Satsankalpa or oath there exist pious sentiments like oneness of soul with all creatures, looking upon wealth of others as mud (so that one does not loot it), looking upon other peoples wife as ones mother etc and on this basis only can we usher in a New Era. By adhering to this we can materialize the dream of heralding heaven on earth that shall be a fact and not a mere fantasy.

CHAPTER 18
A) MAN IS THE AUTHOR AND CREATOR OF HIS DESTINY B) IT IS OUR BELIEF BASED ON TRUE FAITH THAT WE SHALL BECOME GREAT AND IF WE HELP OTHERS IMBIBE GREATNESS TOO THIS ERA SHALL DEFINITELY TRANSFORM C) OUR SANKALPA OR RESOLVE TO TRANSFORM THIS ERA SHALL DEFINITELY GET FULFILLED.

Or lives are influenced by circumstances a great deal. The mind tends to imbibe the qualities of the environment and laymen tend to get casted in the mold of those very circumstances. No doubt incidences influence us and so do other people yet we must accept that the biggest influence on our psyche is our trust. It is only when we surrender to circumstances can they influence us. If our mind is controlled and firm so as not to get oppressed by dire circumstances the latter cannot influence at all. In comparison to trust and deep faith dwelling in our soul and mind the influence of external mundane circumstances is very miniscule. It is believed that Lord Brahma (creator) created our fate. Further it is said that the lines of fate on our palms are drawn much before any of us is born. It is also said that in comparison to ones destiny actions like planning for the future has no importance. All these hearsays are correct only up to a certain point. If people who are blind, handicapped at birth itself or those who are weaklings and daft speak thus we can understand. Many times we become victims of unexpected accidents and it is well nigh impossible to save ourselves from them well in advance. There are unexpected episodes of fire erupting, earthquakes, wars, epidemics, accidental deaths, famines, train accidents, robbery, arsenal etc for which we cannot plan in advance to prevent its occurrence. With reference to such incidences we say it is but the fruit of our fate. In order to pacify mans inner torment the explanation of fate and destiny is such a balm which can be compared to anesthesia like morphine or tranquilizers administered by doctors so as to temporarily relieve the patients pain and agony. No doubt these are special circumstances that require special remedies. These incidences do not take place on a daily footing and hence they can be called exceptions. Effort is an ongoing activity and discipline and destiny is its exception. No doubt we must accept the existence of exceptions but we cannot define ethics and ideals on its basis and no planning too can be done to a great extent. Sometimes a distorted kind of baby is born from the mothers womb. Sometimes trees give flowers and fruits out of season. Sometimes

in hot summer it starts raining. These are all but exceptions and can be looked upon with curiosity and yet most certainly these cannot be taken as an imperishable law. In the same way destiny/fate can be looked upon as an exception but on its basis we cannot conclude that all human activities are predestined. If this were to be true hard work and effort of any sort would have no place in our day to day lives. If whatever happens in our life is pre ordained why would anyone make effort to do just about anything? This is because whether we make efforts or not we shall get all that is written in our destiny only. Each individual is seen to make great efforts to fulfill his/her desired goal. From this it is clear that the soul is imbued with faith to labor hard and ceaselessly it is inspired by this faith. We must realize that Lord Brahma the creator does not write anyones destiny because each person is the author of his/her own fate and destiny. Just as milk on curdling becomes curd in the same way efforts in the past and present become destiny today and in future. Todays efforts need not give results and fruits immediately. Generally it takes time for the seeds of actions to sprout forth as results. This time span between action and its fruit or result is called fate or destiny. The Lord Almighty is same sighted and full of justice. Since he loves all his children (creatures) equally why would he write a good destiny for one and dire destiny for another and thus be labeled unjust and biased? He has given each child of his a free will to carry out good or tainted actions. But further God says that after performing either a good or vile action man is bound to reap its good or dire fruits and reactions. Thus it certainly is not an overstatement to call actions executed themselves as destiny. In our day to day living we stare at many chaotic situations that take up demonic proportions. We must hence accept the bitter truth that we are its creators and thus if we change our habits, thinking process, viewpoints and activities in a positive manner these dire problematic situations can definitely be solved. It is futile to take recourse to astrology and curse poor stars and planets for our misfortune. Stars and planets hang billions of miles away from us and are awaiting death while circumambulating the sun. Thus how will they give us joy and peace? Thus we must worship the true star of our lives that is Almighty God and due to honest efforts of our part he shall bless us. Every year during Navratri (9 nights) we worship the Navdurgas or 9 Goddess Durgas so that she blesses us with divine glories. In order to attain as many joys and comforts and get her grace too we worship 9 Durgas in varied manner. Just as the 9 Durgas dwell in the abode of gods called Devloka so too on this earth called Bhuloka 9 goddesses dwell in the head of our body. By worshiping her we attain what we desire as per her blessings. A doubt may arise that as to whether these goddesses dwelling in heaven are happy with us or not yet is we worship them in our very hearts and soul our efforts never go wasted. Even if a little effort is made to worship her devotedly we attain great benefits. The 9 goddesses who reside in our psyche are:

1) WHOLESOME DESIRES 2) POWER OF THOUGHT 3) SACRED SENTIMENTS 4) DEEP FAITH 5) HONEST ACTIONS 6) STEADFASTNESS 7) SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES 8) VARIOUS GREAT SELFLESS ACTIVITIES 9) SELF CONTROL

By developing the above mental qualities man becomes the lord of 8 glories and 9 gems of Kubera (god of wealth). Knowingly or unknowingly every advancing person of the world has had to carry out this worship devotedly and only via its grace they got the golden opportunity to reach pinnacles of glory. If we try to render our character and activities sacredly great, those who come in our contact too attain greatness. Those who imbibe great ideals reach high stature and those who ignore them remain lowly. Great people thus lead society and laymen remain ordinarily mundane. If we wish to render ourselves and the entire world peaceful and prosperous we must imbibe high stature ideals in our psyche and day to day activities. This sort of greatness helps proliferate, great qualities in all beings. It is only a mature healthy mother who can give birth to healthy children. If a father has imbibed great ideals his children shall become disciplined in life. If one is a great preceptor only then do the disciples too attain greatness and glory. If the husband is good in character he shall definitely get a faithful wife. With reference to the body the shadow appears ugly. The face of a person seen in a photograph seems lifeless than the actual face. If someone attains true glory no doubt those coming in his/her contact too shall attain greatness yet the latter shall be just a wee bit lower on the rung compared to the former. The era of writing and giving sermons has lapsed by. It is futile to believe that the world shall transform merely by boastful speeches, vanity or coloring white paper black in the name of writing. Although these may help a wee bit yet the ultimate goal can never be reached via these superficial methods. These methods have a lot of limitation as far as achieving the goal of Era Transformation and rejuvenation is concerned. The only true method for this is to raise our psychological stature to pinnacles of greatness and thus

imbibe a sacred glorious character. We can teach someone only if our own behavior and actions are wholesome and pious. While we study mundane subjects like math, geography, history etc the technique of hearing and listening works fine but when we aspire rejuvenation of world humanity the entire psyche needs to be revolutionized. For this fulfillment each one of us must come forward. If individually we imbibe a great sacred character the world in due course too shall transform gloriously. If as world individuals we change and reform the transformed New Era shall manifest and thus our Yug Nirman Missions oath shall realize its goal. Unfortunately in todays modern era there is a dearth of great Rishi-Munis who via their ideal sacrosanct character raised the very al round stature of laymen via their great teachings. Today the world lacks true Brahmins who via their infinite wisdom, self sacrificing renunciation and honest hard labor helped the beastly activities of human beings veer away from destruction by rendering their actions piously divine. In the absence of trees the castor oil tree is labeled a tree. If people belonging to great pious families imbibe great ideals in their inner personalities and character at least a few closed doors of progress shall be thrown wide open. If we burn up our selfish narrow minded nature so as to become selfless workers of the world great visionaries can then easily attain the goal of neo creation of this world. If laymen blowing the conch of Yug Nirman Missions oath march ahead definitely they shall become Era Creators since their latent soul power shall awaken. If we can awaken the nations and worlds intellect and consciousness so as to imbue people with a high stature glorious character if not today at least in future the oath of Yug Nirman Mission shall bear fruits. If we harbor faith in manifestation of a New Era it certainly is not akin to building castles in the air because in reality it is based on certain cosmic divine laws. Circumstances maybe very dire yet when magnanimous steadfast individuals work together with a powerful resolve or Sankalpa circumstances are bound to change positively. The situation could be mythological encompassing liberation from demonic terror or liberation from that demon, who could command the sun never to set. Thus if demonic power can attain so much (albeit vile) what to say of sacred minded people who make a firm resolve of transforming this era. Those associated with the worldwide organization called Yug Nirman Mission know well what a pious potent mental resolve can attain. Know for sure that this is a divinely inspired movement. Those who take this oath are partners of this sacred divine resolve or Satsankalpa. Hence it is best that we harbor full faith in its success and in order to imbibe this oath in our day to day transactions we put in honest hard effort.
