Journey to the center of the Earth by Jules Verne The story starts n 24 May 1843, in a Sunday when profesor

Lidenbrock returns to his big house in Hamburg. When he got there his servint Martha was making dinner for the hole family. Profesor Lidenbrock was a big and tall man, with big black eyelashes and brown hair and blue eyes. He lived with his nephew Axel and his servant Martha. He was a big geografer and colector of minerals that was known in all of the scholls of Hamburg. One day the profesor was siting in his divingroom reading a very important book that he found in the library ,when out of the book came a very strange parchment. It was written in a very old latin combined with some letters from the islandez alphabet. Profesor Lidenbrock tried to describe the letters in many ways . He worked day and night without eating and sleeping, tring to fiind the secret of this text. Axel being a smart boy helped the profesor and finally together they described that a man from Island managed to get in the center of the earth. So the profesor with his nephew made their bags paking many useful things like machines that indicate the temperature, the magnetic puls and other things related to science. So they traveled by train and later by boat to get to Island. After they arrived at the station of the city Reykjavik they hired a man to help them on their fabulos trip. The man was a little scared because he knew that nou man has been to the center of the earth before. After some days of relaxation they started their trip. They crosed a large valey and stoped at the base of the mountain Sneffels. They climbed the huge mountain and at the top they found a large cave that was going down under the mountain. So they went down , walking thounsends of metres under the ground. At every 200 meters the temperature was rising with 30 C. Down in the earth the 3 men found hundreds of minarals unknown tom an. The minerals were very shiny and every piece of them produced a big, silvered light. They stoped to eat something and then they walked again on and on.The profesor was very impresed by the magic structure of the high clifs and big canions that sorounded them. The journey was dificult because of the temperature and the small mound of oxigen. The man that acomponied the two germans was very strange. He didn,t speak with Axel or the professor. His name was Hans and he was a islandez. While they were walking throw some sort of maze , Axel got lost and tried to scream so that the profesor can hear him. After some minutes the profesor found Axel siting on a stone with his head hurt. After Axel got better they found themselves siting face to face with an huge sea. They made a raft and went on the huge sea. The trip on the large sea was very long like the sea was an ocean. On their way they found a large crocodile fiting with a huge lizard and one day they went acrros a big storm. After some adventures on the sea they finally founf the end of the sea where continued a long river. They went forwards on the long river floating throw large caves where big balls of fire and lava were coming aut of the walls.After days of floating on the long river they found themselves floating on the Mediterean sea. So the profesor conclused that instead of going down the river they went up. So after this trip the profesor was very famous and told to other scientists his discovery.
