Relationship

At Adayana, we believe that building a strong relationship goes a long way to assuring a successful solution. Our Business
Development team works closely with your key people to determine your needs and the scope of work. A high level checklist
developed specially for this purpose helps clarify and consolidate the information that leads to the Project Proposal and
Contract.

Discovery
At this stage, we have already established a working relationship and are moving into the requirements gathering phase. We
now have a series of meetings where we officially kick off the project and conduct interviews with your key people such as
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Content
Perhaps the most critical component of successful training is comprehensive and reliable content. At this stage, our team works
with yours to gather all available content. This may be in the form of electronic documents, printed papers, slide shows, image
libraries, marketing materials…some of it may even exist only in the head of the SME! Our job is to corral all this content and
create a Content Log for future reference.
Analysis
We now move into the Design Process, using the ADDIE instructional system design model: Analysis, Design, Development,
Implementation and Evaluation. The output of this phase is the Analysis Document which breaks down or analyzes the
information we have gathered from you and serves as the foundation for the design of the training. We build review cycles into
this and subsequent phases to ensure that we have understood your requirements completely before sign-off.

Design
The expertise and experience of Adayana’s team come to the forefront during this phase. This is when our knowledge of
Instructional, User Interface, Visual and Technology Design blend to produce the best solution for your training needs. Using
our meetings and interviews as inputs, the complete content, and the approved Analysis Document, we produce a
comprehensive Design Document that is a blueprint for the solution to be built.

Development
When you have reviewed and signed off the Design Document, this is our signal to move into the solution development. Our
team of instructional designers and writers, usability experts, and multimedia designers now scripts the learning modules,
produces media assets, creates artwork, and develops the back-end technology to deliver the final training solution.

A small portion may be first developed for your review and feedback; this is the Alpha, or first output. The Beta follows, which
is typically the entire solution. When we have made refinements and done the requisite testing, we will deliver the final or Gold
version.

Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance process or ‘QA’ happens concurrently with the solution development. During this phase, not only does
our team do the necessary checks to ensure optimal quality, we also look to you to provide feedback and review the Alpha and
Beta releases for approval. Only when we have incorporated all your inputs into the development of the solution, do we
consider it the final release or ‘Gold’.

Acceptance
This is the final stage of the internal process, i.e. the process between our team and yours, before the solution is released to
the target audience. When we receive approval of the Gold version of the solution, we make preparations to deploy and deliver
it. The solution may be hosted on an intranet, need to interface with a Learning Management System (LMS), or may require CD
production, if that is how the solution will be distributed.

Go Live
The solution has been tested and deployed, and is now ready for release. This is the point at which it ‘goes live’ and is available
for learners to use and interact with.
Assess
The solution has been successfully implemented and received. We now receive Final Acceptance from you, and the project is
officially complete. The team now gathers all the documents generated during the process and compiles Final Documentation.

Celebrate
Does this phase need any explanation? We celebrate the successful conclusion of the project and conduct debriefs to determine
what we did well and what we can do better next time. The contract is officially closed and we archive the data and
documentation from the project for future reference. We may release a Case Study that chronicles the original problem, the
solution that was developed, and the results.
