Jan 2005 – Present. Civil Engineer-TR1 (Transportation Division-Airports Dept.) for L. Robert
Kimball & Associates, Inc. in Moon Clinton, Pa. Responsible for airfield and non airfield design and
construction for International, Business, Private and General Aviation Airports in many states.
Construction project engineer on many multiple sizes of projects. Providing daily construction reports,
inspection services, material testing and also client and contractor maintenance.

Performed daily design tasks through preliminary to final design phases including E&SPC BMP's and
DEP and local conservation districts permit completions and approvals, stormwater drainage system

2007 Landside Roadways Repairs, Pittsburgh International Airport, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Allegheny County Airport Authority. Duties included conducting a pavement inspection of all
existing landside roads interconnecting traffic around and through airport, assisted in preparation
of plan documents and design for the replacement of deteriorated non-airfield slabs, bituminous,
stormwater inlets. Project conferences and meetings.

2007 Zelienople Misc. Runway Improvements, Zelienople Municipal Airport, Zelienople,

Pa. Duties included designing new and retrofitted existing airfield lighting around displaced
threshold 35 end, airfield pavement marking removal and new marking layout. Project
conferences and meetings.

2006-2007 Construct Parallel Taxiway, Construct RSA, Construct Parallel Taxiway

Lighting, Fairmont Municipal Airport-Frankman Field. Duties included developing contacts
and performing construction permitting with WVDEP for clearances. Assisted in existing site
analysis, preliminary and final design, project meetings for all three projects. Performed resident
project representation for Parallel Taxiway project and assisted on RSA project simultaneously
for 5 months in West Virginia. Daily project inspections, quality control, contractor interface and

2006.2007 Hangar 6 Parking Lot Replacement, North & West Sides, TW Z, Pittsburgh
International Airport, Pittsburgh, Pa. Duties included assisting in site analysis,
preliminary design, final design, utility coordination, design plans, quantities and

2006.2007 Voyager Jet Center Hangar Apron and Parking Lot, Allegheny
County Airport, West Mifflin, Pa. Duties included assisting in site analysis, major utility
investigation and design, preliminary design of pavements, electrical (airfield and non airfield),
pavement marking (airfield and non airfield), quantities and estimates. Project conferences and

2006 Asphalt Repair/Replacement Program. Airport Entrance Road Rehabilitation

Project, Allegheny County Airport, West Mifflin, Pa. Duties included conducting a pavement
inspection of all existing area in scope of work to document for particular design challenges.
Assisted in preparation of plan documents and design for the bituminous overlay, curb
replacement, pavement re-painting, and any subsurface work. Project conferences and meetings.

2006 Runway 5-23 Conversion to TW G General & Electric, Allegheny County Airport,
West Mifflin, Pa. Worked this project simultaneously with the Voyager Jet Center Hangar Apron
and Parking Lot Project because it was imperative that these two projects had continuity do to
time constraints. Duties included assisting in site analysis, major utility investigation and design,
airfield pavement design, electrical (airfield and non airfield), pavement marking (airfield and

2006 Upperwest Ramp Expansion ILS Cable/Ductbank Relocation, Allegheny County
Airport, West Mifflin, Pa. Duties included assisting in final electrical layout design and plan
preparation.

2006 Reissue of 2006 PIT Concrete and Asphalt Program Airside Terminal Gates Slab
Replacement Concourse ‘B’ Gates, Pittsburgh International Airport, Pittsburgh, Pa. Duties
included re surveying B-gates to verify distresses on previously designed plans, and re-issued
modified plan set.

2006 Obstruction Removal, Zelienople Municipal Airport, Zelienople, Pa. Duties included
preliminary communication and meetings with Beaver County Conservation District, DEP,
PennDOT, Army Corp of Engineers, to obtain permits for E&S, construction, and removal of
30+ acres of trees on the Fish & Boat Commission property at Zelienople Airport. Performed
preliminary site design, utility investigation, assisted in 2 stream crossing designs, surveying,
flagging, verification, plan drawings, final design, specs, bidding, construction management,
resident project representation and inspection for entire project. Project conferences and

2006 Install AWOS and Pavement Marking, Zelienople Municipal Airport, Zelienople, Pa
Duties included preliminary site design for AWOS location, electrical layout for power feeds,
computer center, Wi-Fi design investigation with FCC, airfield pavement marking design,

2005-2006 Runway 17-35 Site Preparation. Construct Runway 17-35 3,500’ x 100’,
Paving & Marking, Phase 1&2. Lighting Runway 17-35. Rock Business Park Airport,

May 20, 2004 – August 27, 2004. Construction Inspector for Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation. SR 0022 Construction project in Murrysville, Pa. Multiple bridge locations,
heavy & highway operations. Reading plans and specs. Responsible for daily task inspection
reports: electrical, traffic networking, intersection, drainage construction. Performed work with
SMART Pavement along with FHWA installing complete wiring and sensor system in PCCP and
