Budapest, Hotel Parlament

Information on accommodation and guidelines on reimbursement

Participants at the conference will be accommodated at Hotel Parlament

www.parlament-hotel.hu/

The address of the Hotel is:

1054 Budapest
Kálmán Imre utca 19
Phone number: +36-1-374-6000

How to reach Hotel Parlament:

When arriving by train:

From Nyugati pu. (Western Station):

Walking distance. From the underground you should follow the signs towards BAJCSY
ZSILINSZKY ÚT. Walk on the right side of the road (having the train station behind your
back) and after about 100 meters you will find Kálmán Imre utca on your right hand side.

From Keleti pu. (Eastern Station) or Deli pu. (Southern Station):

In both cases, take the red metro line (Metro number 2) to DEÁK FERENC TÉR (junction of
all three metro lines). Then take the blue metro (Metro number 2) toward ÚJPEST. You
should get off at the ARANY JÁNOS UTCA stop. As you come out of the metro station turn
left and follow BAJCSY ZSILINSZKY ÚT until you reach Kálmán Imre utca on your left
hand side.

When arriving by plane:

The easiest way to get to the city from the airport is by the „AIPORT MINIBUS”. You can
change money or use the ATM machine in the arrivals hall. You will find a desk for the
Airport Minibus Service in the meeting area of the airport. Please buy a return ticket, which
costs 4390 HUF (~18 EUR) per person. Wait until the driver calls the address you gave at the
desk. Please keep the ticket as you will need it for your trip back. When departing, you will
need to call the Minibus Service one day in advance and arrange a pick-up time, depending on
your flight out. The hotel can arrange this for you.

Alternatively, if you arrive with family or with other colleagues, it may be cheaper to take a
taxi. There is an airport taxi company called Zona Taxi. You can find the taxi station outside
the terminal. It has fixed prices, which to Hotel Parlament should be 4500 HUF. Please pay in
forints because the euro price is significantly higher.
