Harvest Co-op ~ Sketchbook Assignments ~ 8TH Grade ~ 2011-12 SKETCHBOOKS ARE DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS EVERY THURSDAY

All students need to do at least one nished sketch per week in your sketch book. The purpose of a sketchbook is to encourage you look harder at things, use your imagination, and explore ideas and techniques that interest, challenge, and stimulate you. In addition to the weekly sketchbook assignment, you are encouraged to ll this space with your artistic plans, notes, and collections. Use your sketchbook as a place to let out your ideas and thoughts through your art. Sketchbooks will be due every week at the beginning of class. Each sketchbook assignment should take between 30 and 60 minutes and must be done on your own time during the week. The assignments are worth 100 points each. You will receive 100 points for drawings that meet the following expectations:
