ScDec refers to a Single Crochet Decrease. To make this stitch virtually invisible when

the amigurumi is 'V' side out, follow this well known method of only using the front loop:

Insert crochet hook into front loop of next stitch, yarn over and pull through.

Keep the loop on the hook.

Insert crochet hook into front loop of next stitch, yarn over and pull through.

There should be 3 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all three loops on the hook.

A S S E M B L Y Sew the 'Ch 1, Turn' edge of the Bottom Piece to half of Row 10 of the Top Piece. Once you have sewn these together, Row 10 of the Bottom Piece represents the bottom edge of the mouth and

the remaining stitches of Row 10 of the Top Piece represent the top edge of the mouth. (Refer to the following diagram.)

Fold each 'Inside Mouth' circle in half and sew them shut at around the edges to create semicircles. Sew Row 6 of each of these pieces to Row 10 of the Top and Bottom Pieces. (There will be 20 stitches open on the Top and Bottom Pieces and only 18 around the edge of the semicircles. Be sure to compensate for this while you sew). Stuff the piece through the opening between the two 'Inside Mouth' pieces. Sew the folded edges of both semicircles together to close the mouth.
