Our Lady of Victory Parish continues to support Rachel Muha and Run the Race. Kids ages 3-18 are welcomed at the center which is located just 3.6 miles away from OLV. At the center, kids receive a meal and snacks. They participate in fun activities such as sports and crafts. They hear God's word and share prayer time together. They feel the consistent love that Rachel, her staff and other volunteers give to them daily. The center is a stable environment that they can count on each day. Pantry items that are ALWAYS needed: Granola Bars, Fruit Bars, Fruit-Cups, Cans of Protein: Tuna, Chicken meals. Please place these items in the boxes in the lower level of the Parish Life Center where Sunday school takes place.

Society and volunteers will be packing 200 lunches for the homeless on Monday , November 28 at 6:30 in the Parish Life Center. Two hundred servings of cookies are needed and all are welcome to help pack. We would like to have 2-3 cookies per serving in a baggie for easy packing. If you are able to help bake cookies, please contact Kathy Sochor at 402-5934.

THANKSGIVING DINNERS FOR FAMILIES IN NEED: OLV St. Vincent de Paul Society is again providing 18 complete holiday dinners to families in need. The cost has risen this year to $55 per family. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated. Checks may be mailed to Jeffrey Panuto, treasurer, at 4034 Deer Lake Way, Columbus 43204. His telephone number is 614-754-8063. Make your checks payable to OLV St. Vincent de Paul Society.

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT TREE: You

will find the St Vincent de Paul Society annual Christmas Ornament Tree in the vestibule. Simply select an ornament, find the sign-up sheet for that family and write your name and phone number next to the gift you have selected. (Please be sure to sign your name and phone number on the sign-up sheet!) We ask that the gifts be wrapped, gift cards be placed in gift bags and returned to the vestibule by Sunday December 11 and placed in the boxes in the vestibule. The ornament needs to be securely attached to the gift, so the gifts will be distributed to the right family. (You may want to enclose a gift receipt in case an exchange might need to be made). Our parish has always been so generous with giving and we want you to know how grateful these families are for your kindness. The gifts will help parishioners and other needy families in our community. Questions, please contact Pat Feamster @ 459-3683 or 657-2375.
