study on the selected literary genres of the world.It focuses on the major divisions ,classifications and elements of literature and studies of ancient to contemporary genres.Students are expected to show appreciation of the lesson through stage play presentation and active class participation.
Course Objectives: This course aims
to discuss the major divisions of literature, its approaches and its early literary influences.Analyze the different literary selection of European and Western culture.Examine the distinct of the different selection from the Afro- Asian literature and apply the concepts and ideas from the different literary genres.
