Main features
PIXEL HF 100 KHz is a modern high frequency x-ray generator. PIXEL HF 100 KHz is the latest revision of the PIXEL family born in 1984. The 100 KHz model has been introduced in the market in December 2000. The microprocessor control unit provides ease of use and high reliability. PIXEL HF is available in many kind of models, with power from 50 to 80 KW, 1 or 2 tubes, for radiography only or radiofluoroscopy purposes. The high versatility interface of PIXEL HF allows an kind of connections of X-ray tubes or radiological devices (old or new). PIXEL HF offers variety of applications: from basic radiography up to digital cardio/angiographic xray diagnostic applications. Models offering economy benefits combined with appropriate performances are available. Main features: The x-ray generator PIXEL HF can control up to six different devices and feed on two x-ray tubes at the same time. The power supply, part of the 100 KHz technology, has a smaller dimension and weight than the 20 KHz generator (dimension : p 500 mm x l 457 mm x h 1400 mm, weight 135 Kg). The highly ergonomic control panel offers excellent supervision of all parameters and possible regulations (more then 500 anatomical technical program). The wide high contrast Liquid crystal display (295 mm x 250 mm) keeps a constant flow of main information in real time and allows the user to be updated on all exposure data. Precise and accurate setting of the radiographic factors KV/mA/s (by three points technique) or KV/mAs (by the two points technique). Technologically advanced Automatic Exposure Control for connections of maximum four different ultra-thin ionization chambers. High speed starter for 9000 rpm supplied as standard for the 80 KW unit, available as optional for the other models. DIGI-AEC, automatic control device for selection of radiography KV during fluoroscopy examinations. Especially designed to work with digital video fluorography system. Automatic setting of the x-ray dose both during continuous and pulsed fluoroscopy (R/F models). Possibility to adjust frequency and period of single impulse in pulsed fluoroscopy and HCF, this allows interface with many kind of digital sistem. X-ray tube safety protection and real time heat unit calculator, temperature overload signal. Visual and acoustic signalling of: doors open, failed anode rotation and wrong exposure. Very short switching time from Fluoroscopy into Radiography modality. Multilanguage software installed. Wider list of the present x-ray tubes.

Certification
The PIXEL HF x-ray generator is a II b class device, according to 93/42 CEE European directive. Det Norske Veritas Italia (certification corporate body number 0434) provides CE certification of Italray PIXEL HF, certificate number 98-OSL-SD-0197. The device is made according to directives 89/336/EEC and the following rules:

Installation and warranty

PIXEL HF X ray generator can be installed in preexisting diagnostic room or in a new room, by our technician staff or customer technician taught by Italray. The Italray technical staff can provide the best position plan of PIXEL HF and other device in the customer room. In the standard configuration we supply the generator with 14 meters cable. Italray production staff can provide a preinstallation of generator and all different accessory. All cable can be personalised for the customer exigency. All ITALRAY device has one year factory warranty, from delivery date. The customer can extend the warranty by subscription of technical service agreement.

Wall consolle support: It has the same consolle dimension, its used in very small room to fix the consolle on the wall.

Packing and transport

The X ray generator can be packed in two different ways. For sea transport: wooden case with barrier bag. For normal transport: wooden case. Wooden case dimension: 68 x 72 x 176 cm.
