on a 1/2x28 thread, and QTY 4-5) .002 shims which will adjust ~1/20th rotation on 5/8x24 threads, or ~1/17th rotation on 1/2x28 threads. 9. Use the minimum quantity of washer shims necessary to create proper timing conditions for acceptable mounting torque to be generated prior to deriving appropriate device timing. It is recommended to put any .010 shims in front of .002 shims to protect them from wrinkling or damage.

RSTA MUZZLE ACCESSORY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Unload your weapon in accordance with its manufacturers user manual. 2. Remove the bolt or bolt carrier group and charging handle from the weapon. 3. 10. Tighten the compensator to approximately 30 foot lbs, or about 1.5(5/8x24) to 2-3(1/2x28) o-clock positions from hand tight to the wrench-tightened and timed configuration. If the compensator is not a timed properly, add or delete washer shims as necessary to obtain proper timing. 11. If you have a suppressor to mount to the muzzle accessory, do so at this time, visually confirm alignment by placing white paper in the breach, and looking through the suppressor bore, parallel to the walls of the barrel bore on all sides, comparing clearance to elements of the suppressor bore. 12. In some cases alignment may be obviously out of true, due to production barrel thread inadequacies. If alignment is not perfect, it is probable that your barrel thread was bad from
