Priority Transportation Regional Incentive Program Projects

Candidate Project Phases for FY 2013/14 and 2014/15
Priority Road Improvement Addition of a second northbound left-turn lane and construction of westbound departure lane on US 92. Project will include potential geometric improvements at the County Line/CR 542 intersection, due to its proximity to US 92. Intersection is currently operating at LOS D, the standards for County Line Road and US 92. LOS failures are projected by 2010 associated with growth in West Lakeland and Plant City areas. Add EB Left Lane approximately 600 feet in length and related improvements to Wabash Ave. approach with curb-and-gutter typical section improvements adjacent to the WB departure lane to accommodate future four-laning on US 92 west of Wabash Ave. without requiring reconstruction. Signal modifications to address the additional left-turn lane as necessary. This project is intended to be the first phase of an ultimate multi-laning project in the US 92 corridor to address future level-ofservice deficiencies.
