Understanding the inner witness.

How can you effectively discern the voice of God?
When the Lord speaks to us through His Word, its easy to follow His direction. Words like, thou shalt not... are easy to understand and should be easy enough to follow. But what about the times that God speaks to us via the Holy Spirit? It is in those times, that the Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit,... But still, even though we feel the inner witness, that tug on the inside, how can we be 100% certain, without fail that we are hearing the voice of God? I understand that many people have had this inner struggle and because of this, they feel that they are half-rate christians. But this

are established and they change not! James 1:17 2. The word you received will always glorify the Father! At no time will God ever ask you to something for which He will not get the glory. 3. The word you receive will will take faith to accomplish. Your faith will be excessed in the manifestation of the direction God has given. Why? Because there is nothing else that pleases Him...it is His language. 4. In acting on the word you received, trust will be strengthened and/or established. There is a difference between faith and trust, and once youve acted on His word one time, you will be prepared to act on it a second! Blessings!

could not be further from the truth. All you need is some direction and teaching. First of all, the voice of the Lords Spirit sounds just like YOU! It really does! The reason for this is because the Spirit bears witness with OUR spirit and our spirit is on the inside of you. The Spirit communicated with your spirit, your spirit sends it to your mind,will & emotions, and your soul allows you to respond to it. Most of the time, when you hear from the Lord, it is your soul who will attempt to reason and try to convince you that what you have heard is NOT God! But here are 4 things you can put to the test to confirm wether or not what you are sensing is from the Lord. 1.
