From the very beginning I have found the idea of consulting extremely intriguing and interesting. The very fact that my field of work would change completely with every new project, starting afresh with a new avenue for exploration each time is indeed exciting. An individual with a penchant for learning, I have always wanted a job that is intellectually stimulating with a vast spectrum of challenges. I would relish the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds working together as a team towards a goal as this indicates an open and stimulating work environment. Consulting would provide me a platform where I can see my own original idea being implemented, producing tangible results in the real world - what could provide greater satisfaction! The scope for learning and growth in a consulting firm is immense. If I'd have a job, it would have to be like this! Bain & Co's pre-placement talk was strikingly vibrant and energetic, indicating the dynamic and motivated work environment. The firm was an obvious choice, as I realized a synchronization with its values and culture. The passion for work along with a fun loving attitude of the employees is striking and makes the firm stand out among all others, offering a great work-life balance. The fact that Bain & Co pioneered the practice of aligning their interests with their clients by taking equity in lieu of fees reflects an open minded culture. The tremendous value that the training programs and interaction with fellow Bainees will add to my learning curve and enable me to become a successful business leader. And of course, who wouldnt want to work for The Best Firm to Work For! I see to the end a job that I am committed to. As a second year student during my internship in MUN, Canada, given basic information I was able to analyze and derive unprecedented results, that were later published and recognized on the international stage. Along with a drive for perfection, I bring to the table great reliability with excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills. I have been actively involved in dance, dramatics and quizzing, inculcating team spirit and creativity with these activities. I am especially proud of building, nurturing and leading my hostel's first quizzing team, exhibiting good leadership qualities. By nature, an adventurous and outgoing person, I love to travel and meet new people. The numerous travel opportunities that would come my way with Bain & Co. would indeed be the icing on the cake! I find my candidature in synchronization with Bains unwavering focus and innovation in meeting strategic goals.
