Functions
Corporate Relations
Join Corporate Relations and you will help to manage Diageos reputation in an ever-changing market and global landscape. This area offers huge variety and almost limitless opportunities to learn and develop. You could develop expertise in a wide range of areas, from Government Relations to Brand PR. The main areas we are involved in are: stakeholder engagement; corporate citizenship; public policy; and employee engagement. Corporate Relations is an international function, and there is plenty of scope to plan your own career - this could well include a role overseas.

Facilities
We manage Diageos buildings and sites including prestige offices, packaging and production facilities and small traditional distilleries. With the exception of production processes, we provide all the services necessary for each site to operate safely and efficiently and for our employees to feel proud of working for Diageo. From crucial health, safety and security issues, to simple services like ensuring workplace comfort we help to optimise the productivity of our people through good heating, lighting and food offers. We also seek to minimise the impact of our buildings on local surroundings through environmental strategies. In short, we make it easy for our employees to do business through the services we operate and by providing great workspace. Ours is a career path that offers opportunities in all organisations. Every company has a Facilities capability - you could take responsibility for a large office complex, or perhaps for our bar in the Duty Free operation in Heathrows Terminal Five. As custodians of Diageos buildings, we interact with all departments and functions. We probably work most closely with Procurement, Risk and HR followed by Group Security, Property, Legal and Occupational Health

Finance
We see ourselves as key business partners for our in-market businesses, as well as for the organisation as a whole. We work closely with leadership teams to manage and report the performance of the business, champion rigour in decision-making and identify and mitigate risks. We also have a specialist group of professionals within our head office and key offices (also called hubs) to provide a range of finance and business strategy services. Hubs are based in Singapore, London, Connecticut and Miami. Our internal shared service centre, based in Budapest, Hungary, supports financial planning, reporting and data for both our markets and hubs. We also have a range of global functions roles, including Tax and Treasury, which operate from our head office in London.

Global Procurement
We are responsible for purchasing all the goods and services for Diageo, from capital equipment, new IS systems and packaging materials to POS material and event sponsorships. We follow a regional based structure with Demand and Supply teams sitting in Africa, Asia Pac, Europe, Latin America and North America with a central strategy team located in London. Our overall purpose is to assure, protect and create value for Diageo, through assuring availability, quality & service, effective risk management and governance building key relationships with suppliers and focusing on the Innovation and Premiumisation agenda. If you want to see all aspects of a global business, consider Procurement. We work closely with all the functions in the business, collaboratively developing and executing procurement strategies from the beginning of the product lifecycle glass and liquid development, through packaging and manufacturing to advertising and marketing. We offer a broad range of opportunities right across supply and demand, strategic, operations and categories. And because we are a global function, with some roles involving global responsibilities, we are happy to consider cross-regional moves.

Global Supply
Global Supply is the business function responsible for making and supplying our brands to our customers. We have operations all around the world and employ around a third of Diageos total workforce. Seamless integration is crucial, as we are responsible for all aspects of the supply chain. We ensure that new ideas are brought to life; we work closely with marketing and sales teams to forecast future demand; we take customer orders; and we buy raw materials. And of course, we make and package our brands, then distribute them around the world. We are truly a truly global organisation, with operations from Australia to Venezuela. This means that our people can take advantage of opportunities all over the world. At any given time we have a number of people on international assignment, but many more than that travelling to support other countries. We have roles at every level of the organisation: entry-level operatives, graduate trainees, scientists, engineers, team leaders, and senior executives. Human Resources
Human Resources operates as a true commercial partner to the business. Global Information Systems


The Global Information Systems (IS) function provides IS services to all of our employees worldwide. We either offer direct services or we provide them through partners who we then need to manage. Around the world we have employees based in over  countries. Globally, IS is split into the following departments: Business Improvement; Global Service Delivery; Strategy and Business; SAP centre; and Information Security We can offer a fast-paced technology career that could span business areas, or geographies, or both. As a truly global function, many of our roles involve significant travel, giving our people the chance to work in lots of different cultures. You can work with other countries while remaining in your home country, or while living abroad. At the same time, because we are a key support function, our people also work cross-functionally within Diageo. IS professionals have moved into roles within the Finance function, for example, and vice versa.

Innovation
The aim of Innovation at Diageo is to create the drinks people celebrate with. The Innovation team develops new and exciting products that enable consumers to celebrate life across the world. Innovation is seen as key to delivering ongoing organic growth for Diageo. General Administrative Roles


As an Administrative Professional youll have a demanding workload, balancing self-managed tasks and projects that enable your team. Youll work on your own, and with teams, to provide support. Legal
The Legal function at Diageo plays a vital role in helping to build the Companys business while protecting its assets, and assuring its compliance with the myriad of laws and regulations that affect a multinational corporation.
