Battleground X Gaming Event


General Rules: Players will be charged for any damage done to infrastructure provided. Standard rules and regulations apply. The decision of coordinator will be final in any dispute.

Any changes in the rules will be notified to the players on the spot.

Age of Empires 2
A clan should consist of 2 players. If a player is registered in one clan then he cannot register for any other clan. If an incidence of smurfing is detected then the concerned player will be banned from the tourney. Civilization Rules Both teams have to decide the civilizations before the beginning of the game and tell them to the organiser(s). No changes in the civilizations will be allowed later. Also, no two members of the same team can have same civilization.

Colour Rules The colours will be decided on the mutual understanding of the players but if someone disagrees, then the colours will be taken on first come first take basis. Pause Rules If during a game, any player needs to pause then he/she should first notify all players and then pause the game. Before unpausing the game also, he/she should notify others. After registration the teams will be informed of their schedule in advance any team failing to come on time will be declared defeated with a maximum tolerance of 30 minutes. If any use of unfair means (such as swapping the players during the game) is found then the team will be disqualified. Players are however allowed to bring their own laptops, mouse, mouse pads, headphones or other accessories. In case of any dispute the decision of the organisers will be final.

Host/client will be announced before the match or decided by coin toss. Player changes and strategy changes are limited to 3 times throughout the game. (The changes before the start of first and second half are not included in this count.) At the end of each match, players must maintain the final screens and receive the score confirmation from a referee. We may install third party programs and/or join as an observer for tournament operations purposes, such as verifying match results or gathering match data Stadium Setting Stadium : Bay Arena Weather : Sunny Day Game setting precautions The officially licensed FIFA Soccer 11 product must be used with all its official updates. The abilities of teams and players cannot be modified arbitrarily. Graphics and other settings may only be setup through the menu. (Configuration file cannot be used). The match result will be accepted even if the players find out that each others' settings were different afterwards. Players may modify the devdata.dat file (pad incompatibility cases only). Prior to any changes in one?s team, the player that wants to change must be in possession of the ball and be in his own half before they pause the game. Should a player persist in playing with forbidden moves, he may be disqualified from the tournament. All complaints shall be dealt with after the match has been completed. The replay must be saved at the end of each match. Disconnections Should a disconnection occur: A referee will confirm the exact score to that point, and restart the match. A referee will inform the players on exactly how many minutes must still be played in order to complete the match. Intentional disconnection: Upon judgment by the referee, any offending player will be charged with a loss and a possible disqualification from the tournament. Penalty for unfair play Unfair play Use of any cheat program Intentional disconnection Use of any settings exceeding the standard and permitted settings Any unnecessary chatting during the match. If a referee decides that external conditions (Press, Team Leader, Player, Spectator, etc) are giving or have given an unfair advantage to a player, the player may be given a warning or lose by default at the referees sole discretion. Upon discovery of any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, that player will be disqualified from the tournament. (Any disconnection of the connection between match players due to System, Network, PC, and/or Power problems/issues) Intentional: Upon judgment by the referee, any offending player wil be charged with a loss by forfeit.

Unintentional: If the disconnection is deemed to be unintentional by the referee, the match wil be restarted. If any player does not agree to a match restart, that player wil lose by default. Penalty for Unfair Play
