AllthefilesforintegratingyourCoursePackagearelocatedintheZIPfilethatyoureceivedintheemailfrom CengageLearning. >>SaveyouremailfromCengageLearningsinceyoumightneeditlater. 1. Opentheemail,andclickDownloadCoursePackage. 2. SavetheZIPfiletoyourDesktop. >>DonotopentheZIPfileatthistime.

AddingtheCoursePackage
MoodleLearningcategorizesCengageLearningscoursepackagesasSCORMContent.Inordertointegrateyour CoursePackage,youneedtolocatetheZIPfilethatyousavedtoyourDesktopandaddittoyourcourse. 1. InyourcourseclickTurnEditingOnwhichcanbefoundonthetoprighthandsideofthepage. 2. FromtheWeeklyOutlinenavigationpanelselectAddanActivityandchooseSCORM/AICC. 3. EnteraTitleforthelessoninNamefield,followedbyaSummaryforthelessoninthefieldbelow. 4. NexttothePackagefile,selectChooseorUploadafilebutton. 5. Anewwindowwillbepresentedtoselectthefile,ClickUploadafileandclickBrowseandselecttheZIPfile thatyoudownloadedtoyourdesktopandclickUploadthisfile. 6. ClickChoosefromnexttothefileyoujustuploadedfromyourDesktop. 7. YouwillnowbebackonyourpreviouspagefromStep3,whereyouwillnowhavePackageFilefield populatedwiththenameofyourcoursefile.ClickSaveandReturntoCoursetoviewthecourse. NowthattheCoursePackagehasbeenaddedtoyourMoodlecourseyoumayassignGradebookcategoriestoyour resources. GradingforSCORMobjectsisusuallydeterminedintheSCORMPackageandsetduringtheauthoringprocess howeverbesuretoconfirmthattheMaximumgradeandtheGradingmethodaresetinaccordingtoyour preferencesasreferencedintheprevioussection.

AccessingYourCoursePackageandInstructorTools
NowthatyouhaveaddedtheCoursePackagetoyourBlackboardLearncourseandsetuptheGradebook,youcan launchtheContentPlayerandviewyourCoursePackage.TheCoursePackagemaycontainacombinationoflessons (gradedandungraded),Courseresources,CoursePackageToolsandSupport&Documentationresources. 1. TolaunchtheContentPlayer,clicktheCoursePackagelinkthatwascreatedwhenyouaddedtheZIPfileto yourcourse. 2. ToenableyourInstructorToolsusetheleftmenuoftheContentPlayertoclickontheInstructorToolslink underCoursePackageToolsandyouwillbepromptedtoenteraninstructoraccesscode. >>YoucanobtaintheAccessCodefromtheemailthatincludedtheZIPfile.Itmayalsobeprovidedtoyou separately.(YouwillonlyhavetoenteryourAccessCodeonce). 3. CreateorEnterSectionKey:createorenterSectionKeystoprovidestudentaccesstothegradableactivities. CourseGradebookDetails:viewdetailsofstudentsworkongradableassignmentsincludedintheCourse Package. RequestaNewCoursePackage:yourCoursePackagecanbeusedinmorethanonecourseorsectionandfora newtermbycreatingSectionKeys,howeverusethislinkshouldyouneedtorequestanewCoursePackagewith nosectionssetup. RequestAdditionalInstructorAccessCodes:requestadditionalaccesscodesforotherinstructorsorteaching assistantsinyourcourse.

CreateorEnterSectionKey
SectionKeysarerequiredtosupportuseofthegradedactivitiescontainedwithinthisCoursePackageformultiple sections,fromtermtoterm,andbyotherinstructorsatyourinstitution. >>YouarerequiredtocreateaSectionKeyforeachsectionyouteachusingthisCoursePackageanddistribute ittostudentsbeforetheywillbeabletoaccessthegradedactivities. 1. WhenpromptedtocreateaSectionKeycontinuetotheCreateorEnterSectionKeypanelorsimplyclick InstructorToolsunderCoursePackageToolsandselecttheCreateorEnterSectionKeylink.
