EVOLUTION pageant 2011 General Guidelines: 1. Each department is required to submit 1 male and 1 female to be their representatives for the pageant. 2. Undergraduate and graduate representatives should pass waivers given by the RSCA with parents/ guardians signature. 3. Each representative will be given a MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) and should pass the MOA 1 week before the pageant. 4. Each participant should have 1 make-up artist and 1 designer only. Each model will be given 2 backstage passes to be given to his/her make-up artist and designer. If body paint is needed, strictly HYPOALLERGENIC paint should be use. Avoid using ordinary paint which may harm the body. DLSHSI will not be liable for any accidents that will happen. 5. Backstage pass to be given by ISC officers is not transferrable. 6. Strictly no backstage pass. No entry. (ISC will be very strict on this) 7. All of the props to be used by each contestant should be placed in the backstage 5 minutes before the pageant starts. No props will be allowed to enter during the pageant proper. Backstage will be closed 5 minutes before the pageant start for safety and security purposes only. 8. Usage of fire or deadly weapon as props is prohibited. 9. Each Department is required to have documentation in making the props and costumes. 10. Each Department is encouraged to use recyclable materials in making the props. However, it is not mandatory. 11. The pageant is divided into 4 segments: Casual wear, Sportswear, Avant-garde evening wear and Q/A. 12. ISC will be the one to make the list of sports attire to be used in sports wear segment. 13. Any representatives who do not comply with the said guidelines will be automatically disqualified in the said activity. 14. Strictly NO WAIVER, NO MODELLING.

Guidelines for Each segment: 1st Segment: Casual Wear 1. Each participant is required to purchase a t-shirt from the ISC to be used for the casual wear portion of the pageant. 2. The candidate is allowed to customize the t-shirt to create his/ her own style. Customization must be done within the rules of the dress code. 3. Very short shorts for female are not allowed. 2nd Segment: Sportswear 1. 1 participant from each department representatives will pick the sports attire that they will be modelling. 2. Each pair of candidates will wear the same sports attire. 3rd Segment: Avant Garde Evening wear 1. Costumes of each participant is encouraged to be made up of recycled materials but not required. 2. Participants should pass a brief description of their costumes 3. Participants should also pass photo documentation on how their costumes made. 4. The costume should encompass the theme: Evolution and the Lasallian values. 4th Segment: Q/A 1. There will be 5 jurors who will give questions for each participant. 2. Participants who will be fortunately entering the top 5 will be stored in an isolated room. 3. Participants will be given 2 minutes to answer the question. 4. Each participant will pick one juror who will ask him/her the question through draw lots.
