Role:

Telecom Engineer Working on CDMA EVDO-1X Designed, Installed and Optimized the Radio Frequency (RF) transponders of EVDO in Padmanabha Nagar area with respect to neighbouring Base Transreceiver Stations (BTSs) like Hoskerahalli, Mysore road, Shankarapuram, Hotel Parag and WMS.

Duration: 6 Months

CDMA EVDO-1X, code division multiple access evolution data optimized only single carrier frequency of 1.25 MHz is a wireless broadband ( high speed internet ). It is composed of
access terminals, access points, and a packet data distribution network and it is plug-and-play with most computer operating systems. The LIVE PROJECT involves PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION OF PLANNED NETWORK, TESTING, ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION which is a highly expensive project involves lakhs together. PLANNING: Planning process consists of network design by fixing the location of BTS simulating of the network parameters to get optimal coverage and best service for this we use the tool CNP from ZTE. IMPLIMENTATION: The network which is planned is to be physically implemented at the locations planned with the antenna height, azimuth, degree of tilt and other RF parameters.

TESTING: We go outdoor drive test to collect the actual performance of the network planned/optimized by using the tool CNT from ZTE. ANALYSIS: The data collected from the drive test will be input into a tool called CNA to analyze the network and

identify the drawbacks of the earlier planned network. OPTIMIZATION: The data from the drive test and BSC will be taken for final analysis and implementation of the RF parameters.
