TIENEN SU ORIGEN EN EL CAMBIO DE ESTADO DE PARTE DEL VAPOR DE AGUA CONTENIDO EN EL AIRE, QUE SE ENCUENTRA O SE GENERA EN LOS EDIFICIOS, SOBRE LAS SUPERFICIES INTERIORES O EXTERIORES DE LOS PARAMENTOS O DENTRO DE LOS MISMOS. LA CONDENSACIN SE PRODUCE: - POR UN INCREMENTO DE LA CANTIDAD DE VAPOR DE AGUA DEL AMBIENTE SIN MODIFICACIN SIGNIFICATIVA DE LA TEMPERATURA DEL AIRE (ESTO GENERA UN AUMENTO DE LA HUMEDAD RELATIVA, COMENZANDO LA CONDENSACIN AL ALCANZARSE LA PRESIN DE VAPOR DE SATURACIN) - POR UN DESCENSO DE LA TEMPERATURA, AN SIN VARIAR EL CONTENIDO DE VAPOR DE AGUA EN EL AIRE (LO QUE PRODUCIR DE IGUAL MODO UN AUMENTO DE LA HUMEDAD RELATIVA, INICINDOSE LA CONDENSACIN AL ALCANZARSE LA TEMPERATURA DE ROCO TR).

MEZCLA DE GASES IDEALES. MODELO DE DALTON


.Gas ideal formado por partculas que ejercen fuerzas mutuas despreciables y cuyo volumen es muy pequeo en comparacin con el volumen total ocupado por el gas. .Cada componente de la mezcla se comporta como un gas ideal que ocupase l slo todo el volumen de la mezcla a la temperatura de la mezcla. . Consecuencia: cada componente individual ejerce una presin parcial, siendo la suma de todas las presiones parciales igual a la presin total de la mezcla.

- HUMEDAD RELATIVA, PARA CUALQUIER TEMPERATURA Y PRESIN BAROMTRICA DE UN ESPACIO DETERMINADO, LA RELACIN ENTRE LA PRESIN PARCIAL PV DEL VAPOR DE AGUA Y LA PRESIN DE SATURACIN PS A LA MISMA TEMPERATURA, ES UNA MEDIDA DE LA HUMEDAD RELATIVA.

- HUMEDAD ABSOLUTA , XW Es la relacin entre la masa de vapor de agua y la masa de aire seco contenidos en una muestra de aire, es decir, la masa de vapor de agua por unidad de masa de aire seco. Se expresa en kg/kg o g/kg de aire seco.

El aire estar saturado de vapor de agua cuando, a una temperatura dada, su presin parcial sea igual a su presin de saturacin, Ps , a dicha temperatura. De la misma forma, el aire estar saturado cuando, a una presin parcial Pv cualquiera, su temperatura sea igual a su temperatura de saturacin a dicha presin. Dicha temperatura se denomina temperatura o punto de roco, Tr , ya que indica la temperatura a la que comenzar a condensarse el vapor de agua.

Cuando el aire est saturado Pv = Ps y T = Tr y la humedad relativa ser del 100%. Segn nos alejemos del 100% el aire estar ms seco. Como Ps aumenta con la temperatura la humedad relativa disminuir en la misma proporcin. Es decir, el aire tendr menor humedad relativa cuando est ms caliente, aunque contenga la misma cantidad de vapor (la misma humedad absoluta, por ejemplo), y cuanto ms alta sea la temperatura ms difcilmente se producir la saturacin.

LA CANTIDAD DE AGUA EN EL AIRE HUMEDA PUEDE EXPRESARSE DE VARIAS MANERAS

-TEMPERATURA DE ROCIO O PUNTO DE ROCIO (DEW POINT) Es la temperatura a la cual comienza a condensarse el vapor de agua de un ambiente (El aire hmedo llega a saturarse), para unas condiciones dadas de humedad y presin, cuando desciende la temperatura del ambiente y ,por tanto, la del vapor en el contenido. La temperatura o punto de roco es una medida de la humedad del ambiente La presin de saturacin del vapor de agua a la temperatura de roco es la presin parcial de vapor de agua del ambiente.

PUNTO DE ROCO:

Temperatura a la que debe enfriarse el aire (manteniendo constante su presin y su contenido en vapor) para alcanzar la saturacin.
Ejemplo. Masa de aire hmedo evolucionando desde 40 C hasta 10 C (pv = 20 mbar, presin atmosfrica constante 1010 mbar) HUMEDAD ABSOLUTA

La temperatura de bulbo seco se corresponde con la temperatura ambiental tal


y como se mide normalmente. Es decir en un lugar sombro y al abrigo de corrientes de aire. El bulbo del termmetro se mantiene directamente al aire Para medir la temperatura de bulbo hmedo se usa el mismo tipo de termmetro pero se realiza la siguiente operacin. Se llena un pequeo vaso con agua. Se introduce en el agua una sustancia porosa como una buena cantidad de algodn y un trozo de tela natural pero siempre de forma que parte est sumergida en el agua y otra parte quede fuera del agua. El bulbo del termmetro se colocar rodeado de la tela o el algodn que sobresalga del agua. Cuando se rodea el bulbo del termmetro con el algodn o tela lo estamos rodeando de una sustancia que esta humedecida. El aire circulante en la atmsfera 'choca' con el algodn humedecido y evapora parte del agua . Al evaporar el agua debe absorber el calor latente de vaporizacin y lo hace robado calor al bulbo del termmetro. Entonces la temperatura del termmetro desciende continuamente hasta que el aire de los alrededores se satura, es decir, no admite ms vapor de agua

Use of the psychrometric chart


A. You have had four practice problems and if need be you can do more problems later. B. When you listen to the weather report on the radio or watch it on television the two basic facts are the dry bulb and the relative humidity. C. This is done because the relative humidity recorders are more automated than the sling psychrometer. Repeat the previous problems to prove that those two values will provide the same answers.
