All students will be placed at one of the above locations. Students will be placed upon arrival based on availability. If student wishes to stay with a friend(s), they need to make this request known prior to arrival, by emailing: lubo@hospitalitymail.net. HCMS will do their best to accommodate this request, but cannot guarantee it. Dates of Employment: Start Date: 2/15/2012 End Date: 5/15/2012 Starting wage: $7.50 hour Position/ Job Title: Various positions within a fast food restaurant: Position will be rotational and at the managers discretion. Students will be taking orders, working in a kitchen, cleaning and serving customers. Shifts: There will be varying shifts. Earliest will be opening shift at 5 am and there will be closing shift at 1 am. Some male students will work after 1 am unloading the trucks. Grooming Standards: Both Genders: No facial or body piercing, long hair must be pulled back. Men: No full beards for, only mustaches and neatly varying "goatees", no earrings. Dress Code: Students must bring black pants, black belt and black non slip shoes. Must purchase Shirts $17.50, aprons $5.00. Extras: All meals purchased while working are 50% off. NO limit on amount, but it must be eaten at the retaurant.

Avg. hours per week: 32; these hours may be affected by seasonal demand, weather and/or the economy. We do NOT guarantee these hours Frequency of pay: First paycheck may take up to 3 weeks depending time of arrival, every two weeks thereafter, distributed on Mondays. Mandatory: Student must speak conversational English or else will not be hired upon arrival. Is employee housing available: YES Is Sublease Required: YES Student must sign sub lease with ending date of DS 2019/which must be 12 weeks minimum and is required to pay rent for duration. Any time after 12 weeks is paid in 2 week increments. If student abandons sub lease, they are still responsible for the rent and will lose their housing deposit. Housing Deposit: $100 refundable, less a $50 cleaning fee. Participant must sign Conditions of the Work and Travel program. Cost of Housing: _$75.00 a week 2-5 per bedroom (dependent upon size of room), 2 to 6 to share bathroom. This includes a participant signed short term lease, furniture rental (bed, table, and chair) and utilities (non-excessive) no linens or kitchen utensils provided. Students must pay first month rent, $300, in full upon arrival. Transportation: Public transportation in most areas, walk or bicycle. It is students responsibility to get transportation to and from work. Policy & Requirements: Student must read, agree, and sign the Conditions of the Work and Travel Program and submit prior to arrival to HCMS. Students must pay first month rent ($300) the day they arrive and their ($100) housing deposit. If they are unable to pay this, they will be sent to a hotel and not allowed to start working. They also must have enough money for expenses prior to first paycheck, may be 1-3 weeks. ****It may take up to 7 business days before you begin working and that your location, position, duties and responsibilities may vary during the period of your employment, due to weather conditions and other events out of our control. The job offer could change prior to my program start date. Should your position or conditions of employment be changed, we will assist you in finding alternative employment, but HCMS makes no guarantee that it can find a similar job in a similar location. Arrival Procedures: The student can fly directly into the Mobile, Al airport. Their supervisor, will meet them there and take them to their housing. If they fly into another airport, such as Atlanta, they can take the Greyhound bus, visit www.greyhound.com. Student must send arrival information at least 7 days prior to arrival to info@hospitalitymail.net. Student must arrive Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm CST, or is responsible to stay in a hotel until the next working day, for pick up. Students are NOT to stay overnight at the airport.
