    1. Entering the SERVICE MENU

    Press and hold 1 and 3 keys together during 5seconds and release. 2. Navigating the SERVICE MENU: A cursor can be moved using the LEFT/RIGHT/UP/DOWN keys on the front panel or the remote controller. Press (-) (+) keys to change the settings.

    S/W UPGRADE 1) Download and copy (update_m1k_all.img) file to USB memory stick and insert USB memory stick into front USB port. 2) Go to service menu and select S/W UPGRADE

    3) Select UPDATE START and press (+) button then start the upgrade as below,

    4) After finished the upgrade as below, press (+) button again, then DVR will restart automatically

    WARNING: Do not switch OFF OR PRESS any key during the upgrade process of the SRX M1004 or SRX M1008, SRX M1016. REMARK: The initial password of DVR will be changed to 000000.
    #After the upgrade, please check the DVR version in information menu. ### PASSWORD RESET HOT KEY: REW+ Display

    HDD INSTALLATION
    WARNING: POWER SHOULD BE OFF BEFORE MAKING HDD INSTALLATION. 1. 2. Make sure power is OFF. And disconnect the power cord from the DVR. Open top cover and install HDDs as below picture.

    Primary HDD: MASTER setting

    HDD2: Secondary MASTER HDD3: Secondary Slave

    NOTE: Only 3 HDDs can be installed. Make sure the HDD settings. 3. 4. 5. Close Top cover, after install new HDDs and turn on the DVR. Go to the SETUP SYSTEM Disk and format HDDs. Turn down and turn on again. Then DVR will show you HDD capacity at live display.

    NOTE: We recommend HDDs made by Maxtor or Hitachi. We tested up to 400GB HDD. WARNING: Do not use Western Digital HDDs. DVR cannot detect it.

    If you have only one DVR in your area, please use the DMZ host function of router. Example) 1. The local DVR IP is 192.168.1.110. 2. Then set the router as below,

    For the Router, Forwarding function is required. Here is an example of Linksys Router. The IP address is http://211.245.254.6 connected with 2 DVR. (Internal IP : 192.168.1.150 , 192.168.1.151 ) Click the Advanced mode and select Forwarding and set like below,

    If you intend to watch DVR-A through Internet (computer A above), please follow the next procedure. 1. Enter the IP address (or HOSTNAME.DVRHOST.COM) with port No. (2001) like below,

    To watch the DVR-B follow above steps. 1. Enter the IP address (or HOSTNAME.DVRHOST.COM) with port No. (2002) like below,

    2. Click, ADD TO LIST *Notice: Above Port No. 2001, 2002, 555, 666 are arbitrary Numbers to explain.
