Women Should Be Treated The Same As Men: Introduction: -Chairman, fellow members today, we are against this motion which says that Women Should Be treated the same as men. KEY TERMS IN THE MOTION -Definition of Woman: adult female human being, -Definition of Man: an adult male person, the human individual representing the human race. -Definition of Same: Identical, agreeing in kind MAIN ARGUMENT: If these are the definition to the motion, the meaning of same for women and men is not possible. As, physically there bodies are already different. Woman and Male were created to have different bodies having advantages and disadvantages. -2006 Wikipedia did a survey of average height in the world. They did a survey in Hong Kong, for all adults who at that time were 18. The average height for male is 1.717 (5ft7 ) female is: 1.587 (5ft2 ) Women are generally are shorter than male which gives them a disadvantage in mixed sports, daily life, jobs like mining, representing their country in war. -Also, generally Men are stronger in strength than Women. -If US Male Football Team was against US FEMALE Football Team the female team would obviously lose, Males are often more capable in sports. Examples: Tennis Male 3 games to 5 games Female 2 -3 games, golf female play shorter distances than man. So, Women and Male will never be physically the same, which is why we oppose to the motion that women should be treated the same as men. 2ND ARGUMENT: Most of the time, males over 25 and older have a higher yearly income than females 25 and older among all races, according to 2005 Census Statistics. In a family, most of the time, the man is the ones who takes most care of the family finacialial aid. Men often have higher salary than women, different jobs are dominated by men and other jobs are dominated by women. Men earn more money than women, because women normally get a lower job than men because many companies are worried that they will have to find someone else to replace the woman when the woman goes on maternity leave. Many women leave halfway through their career to give birth and to become a housewife. Often males jobs are more stable than females jobs. 3RD ARGUMENT:

Most of the time, Women are more close to their baby, than the father is to the child. Women are generally better with bonding and taking care of their child, often nannys, helpers are women, very rare nannys will be men. SOURCE: A study in 1999 stated that, after 2 days babies are born they can tell the difference between their mothers faces and the face of a stranger. 3days: Babies prefer human voices, especially their mothers Babies are more attached to their mothers because the mother is the one who gave birth to their offspring. Men also support their wives being a housewife, because the male can either already finance the whole family with his stable job or either they simply believe that their wife shouldnt work as hard and should relax and take care of their child. This is why women should not be treated the same as men, women have an advantage in taking care of their child. CONCLUSION: REBATTLING: Question their statements, no source, no quote, stats. Not male dominated worldWomen have a lot of freedom these days, a century ago women wasnt able to leave the house, vote, they had to only take care of children. These days, women are free to work and support themselves and their family, they have the right to vote over 18, they can go to school, and educate themselves, can do futher studying get a PHD degree, they can even be on the US Senate, Hilary Clinton is the Secretary of State for America. Sarah Palin, was running for Vice president. Iceland 4th president was a women, 1980-1996 also successful longest serving president. Women already have many opportunists opened to them, but some occupation and rules just cant apply to women because of their physical ability and that women have disadvantages in different occupations, and male have disadvantages in occupations like nursing, being a nanny, helper. With all these arguments to back up or case, I ask you to reject the motion. WOMEN SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THE SAME AS MEN.
