Darkwind
Darkwind is a turn-based, 3D persistent-
world multiplayer wargame set in the near fu-
ture. The game combines the depth of detail
inherent in turn-based games, with long-term
strategic elements that keep the challenge go-
ing for ages. The setting is a sparsely popu-
lated continent, one of the few surviving
areas of civilization. The focus of the game
is on vehicular combat both in the wilderness
and in man-made arenas. Gameplay is split
between a web interface (for strategic man-
agement) and a 3D interface for both Win-
dows and Mac OSX (to your characters and
vehicles during a combat or race).
